‘The Gloaming Plane’ continues in Krefeld Germany. Many thanks curator @joshuauvieghara for including me in this cool show! See below for excellent lineup of artists. The Gloaming Plane brings together artists exploring the shifting space between painting and drawing — a zone where images remain in motion and resist fixed definition. “Gloaming,” with its evocation of dusk and perceptual in-betweenness, offers a metaphor for this transitional field. Each artist presents one painting and one drawing, connected not as study and outcome but through an indirect or intuitive relation that opens another register of meaning. Curated by Joshua Uvieghara through Pigment Cascade, an artist-led platform for practice-based enquiry, the exhibition foregrounds material thinking and interpretive openness. The pairing acts as a catalyst, allowing the image to circulate, resist closure, and remain in a state of becoming. Running 12 June - 12 July Main Gallery: Westwall 80 b Eingang: Zum alten grünen Weg 47798 Krefeld Opening hours: Fridays 6 pm – 10 pm Saturdays 6 pm – 10 pm Sundays 3 pm – 6 pm Second Gallery: Dreikönigenstraße 161 47798 Krefeld Opening hours: Sat, June 12 | 5 – 7 pm and by appointment Artists: Karolina Albricht @karolinaalbricht Nick Carrick @nicholascarrick Sunny Chengwei Geng @sunnymakingart Max Gimson @max_gimson Tabby Li @tabby_li_artist Hannah Luxton @hannahluxton_ Enzo Marra @enzomarraart Scott McCraken @scott_mccracken_ Christian Mieves @christian_mieves Daniella Norton @daniellacnorton Paige Perkins @paigeperkins7 Toby Rainbird @toby.rainbird Rob Sosner robertsosner.com Dorry Spikes @dorryspikes Joshua Uvieghara @joshuauvieghara Henry Ward @henzward Stephen Newton @s.newtons.studio Jen Metcalfe @jen_metcalfe_painter Andrew Crane @andrewcrane216 Mike stoakes @mike_stoakes Karl Bielik @karl_bielik Alice Lane @burntumberenthusiast Josephine Wood @josephinewood_artist Min Angel @minangelartist Emma Lilly @emmalilly_ Brian Cheeswright @brian_cheeswright Emma Tod @emmatod1 Lesley Bunch @lesley.bunch Jenny Eden @jennyrutheden Neil Zakiewicz @neilzakiewicz Laura L Bell @lauralbellart Bob and Roberta Smith @bobandrobertasmith
