💫 Dark nights have arrived and with them the cool air in the mountains and moist trails. Last night the crew enjoyed a great run, a bit of a drizzle and a challenging climb. Running NRT in reverse and then climbing those stairs through the Incline. Heck yeah! 😎

Once the crew reached the Incline, there was still a bit of light and after a couple of minutes, that unique glow of dusk made an appearance. What a view! If you’re an avid trail runner, you must know that feeling, when the dark approaches and the crisp air enter your lungs and allows you to breathe deeper. A sense of adventure and excitement. 💥

These runs are so special because they leave you with a sense of happiness and fulfillment.

✨ Headlamps on! And now it’s time to fly down Barr Trail— A trail that feels like home to us. Knowing every switchback and every curve; navigating a well-known route.

These runners don’t hesitate. They thrive. They enjoy every step. They commit!

This is what we love. Period.

⛰️ Last night we did it again! Iron Mountain is always there to challenge us. A decent climb to test our lungs. 🫁

We started at our regular meeting point at The Keg. A great crew showed up as every Wednesday. The weather was perfect— cloudy and cool— super pleasant!

We kept a good pace throughout Ruxton Ave., and reached Intemann trail. Then the big climb was awaiting when the big Zach Miller made an appearance and ran with us for 200 ft. 😅

We stopped at Iron Mtn’s trailhead, took a photo and kept running. A few tried to chase Zach… good luck with that! He vanished like a comet. ☄️

When we reached the summit, we took a nice break to enjoy the views, chat, take photos, breathe in the cool air before the fast descent. Don’t we love that downhill!

Our feet were moving fast and we were chasing each other letting the adrenaline rush to take over. 💥

What a great run! 🏃🏻‍♂️ 🏃🏻‍♀️ 🏃🏼 💨

We love our running community. Love our trails. Love running!

🧗🏻‍♀️ Williams Canyon was the perfect route yesterday! We thought that the weather would’ve not cooperated, but not only was pleasant — a bit humid 💦— but just perfect to tackle this beautiful gem in Manitou.

We had so many newcomers: Laura, James, River, Chris, Crystal, John, Logan, Rose, Jarod, Chandra, Steve and Felix. Welcome to the best run club in town! 🙌🏼

The sky with some dark clouds made us wondered if hitting the canyon was a good idea. Not only was good but AMAZING! The trail was moist, everything was so green, so we could feel the humid air in our lungs.

When we were running up more people joined! Peter Maksimow with Logan Anderson. The cree kept growing all the way. Even Mila 🐶 joined!

Tackling the rocks and trying to run the steep canyon was challenging and super fun. This route reminds us what it feels like to be a kid again. The summit was so rewarding. Everybody was excited, taking photos and sharing the beautiful views.

Then the fun part came: running down! This is one of favorite sections. Just focusing on each step and letting the feet choose its pace. We took that small deviation up the Cave of the Winds road. 🤫

On the way back it was all smiles, and lots of yelling out loud, as a sign of excitement.

In the end we got the best reward: a bright double rainbow! 🌈

And of course back at The Keg we got some drinks and comfort food.

🍒The cherry on the cake? Our badass friend Stephen @runsthruit_ who came to share his amazing journey through BigFoot 200. He accomplished a brutal race and we celebrated him and heard the most amazing story.

🏃🏽‍♂️🏃🏻‍♀️Wednesday night done right! 🔥

Yesterday at 6 PM, the crew met up at The Keg and decided to tackle Red Mountain—because who doesn’t love a good climb? ⛰️

We had an incredible turnout, including a bunch of awesome new faces! Huge welcome to Emma, Garret, Stephanie, Josh, Wes, Linda, Katie and Garth (hope we spelled that right! 😜)—you all brought the best attitude!

We cruised through the Intemann Trail, regrouping along the way before hitting the trailhead for that steep, heart-pumping ascent.

After plenty of huffing and puffing, we conquered the summit! The views were absolutely worth it. and you know we had to hit that plank until the last runner arrives!🏔️

✨After soaking it all in and snapping some photos, we flew down the steep, slippery descent, navigated the Intemann together, and wrapped things up perfectly with drinks, food, and endless stories at @manitou_brewing🍻🍔

Thank you to everyone who showed up and brought the energy! See you next Wednesday at 6 PM! 🏃‍♂️💨

No excuses. No drama. Just planking… oh no sorry, Just running! 🤙🏼😎

words and pictures cannot even begin to capture it. 🥹✨ feeling profoundly grateful for @ahymntoahimsa retreats which have changed my life.

they say you meet the right people at the right time, and this retreat felt like finding pieces of a soul family that’s been connected by a thread all along. between the quiet moments in the Grace; the grounding yoga and nature meditation; the ecstatic yoga dance partying and cartwheeling; the smell of matcha and robin’s cooking and bonfires and bug spray; the late night deep talks & deep belly laughs shared with old friends and new kindred spirits alike… the sweet exhaustion of going to bed with a body tired from playing outside all day, paired with a mind racing alive with beautiful inspiration! my heart is completely full to overflowing.

thank you to these amazing souls for holding space, sharing laughter, and reminding me of the magic that happens when we simply slow down. when we open ourselves to connect with one another and experience the joy of this life. appreciation and love for every single one of you! until next time🤍

These pics and clips speak for themselves 🤗 but one of my greatest takeaways is that “strangers” are just the friends we haven’t met yet. There is so so soooo much goodness in the world in the form of humans and experiences (and cupcakes🧁😆) and I’m grateful for every bit 🫂❤️

In anticipation of the best weekend of the summer coming up in just a few weeks…🤭 a few memories from last year’s @ahymntoahimsa summer yoga retreat. 🧘‍♀️🌱🧚🏻✨

This will be my fourth summer involved with this retreat, and every year my heart expands with even more gratitude. There is truly nothing like the magic of being in nature and practicing yoga as a lifestyle alongside such wonderful humans. I’m counting down the days to welcome back our repeaters and meet all the new yogis joining us this season. 🥹✨
