To National and Global Humanity,

Declare a national emergency now! ‼️

Mr. President @prabowo, please understand that you won’t be able to do this by yourself. It’s impossible. This is not your toy. The fires are massive. Not a joke. Pls dont to ambitious with your politic agenda

We need massive help ! 🙏

Kalimantan paralyzed ‼️
Also in other region of indonesia

Declare a national emergency now! ‼️

Please help us speak out and spread awareness about the ignorance and arrogance of national government elites who play the victim while Kalimantan suffers from wildfires and toxic haze.

———-
The president and national government elites continue to ignore the reality on the ground and refuse to declare a national emergency, even as people suffer and biodiversity is destroyed by fires that have burned for more than four months. 😭
—————-

People in Kalimantan are in Big crisis. Local resources and energy are no longer enough to fight the fires. 😭😭🧎🧎🧎

The disaster for Indonesia’s wildlife is just the beginning. Corporations are using “biodiversity offsets” to justify further expansion. WALHI warned that habitats for critically endangered species, like the Tapanuli orangutan, cannot simply be traded for financial compensation or rented land elsewhere. Forests are not numbers on a spreadsheet.

The government must apply the exact same urgency to stopping corporate expansion and restoring ecosystems as they do to fighting fires. Extinguishing the flames is not the finish line. #HumaneMag

Terbakar atau Dibakar?

Hutan tak mungkin menjawab.
Asap tak bisa bersaksi.
Tapi setiap tahun, kita menghirup akibatnya.

Kalau bukan karena alam, lalu karena siapa?

Empat bulan kebakaran terus berulang. Hutan terbakar, rakyat menghirup asap, relawan berjuang setiap hari.

These volunteers and firefighters in Kalimantan have been working tirelessly for 4 months. From cities to most remote villages, they have been extinguishing thousands of fire spots, protecting the communities and saving the remain forests. We have been providing them with equipments, safety gears, medical and logistic support since August.

This is where your donation goes. There are over 200 firefighters in Central and West Kalimantan that we have been supporting. In collaboration with @earthcodesgaia and support from international community, @emmanuelashinta has been able to raise fund for Borneo’s fires and Haze crisis that focus on firefighting, evacuating people to safe space, monitoring and reporting air quality. However, for now we are still in the state of emergency. Once the crisis is over, we still need to do relief effort which will focus on health impact and post-crisis recovery.

Thank you for your love and support!

People in Kalimantan are fighting to survive as they breathe air contaminated with hazardous levels of PM2.5 pollution—levels at the number of 2000+, according Berkeley research, can be equivalent to smoking 100 cigarettes a day.

These microscopic particles, along with toxic gases, penetrate deep into the lungs and can enter the bloodstream, threatening human health. Babies, children, older people, pregnant women, people with disabilities, those with respiratory conditions, and people living with chronic illnesses are among the most vulnerable.

The consequences can be devastating. People are experiencing headaches, watery eyes, sore throats, shortness of breath, skin rashes, diarrhea, nosebleeds, and other health complications.

And now, on top of the toxic smoke, communities are facing a shortage of clean water.

People are being forced to fight for the most basic necessities of life: clean air and safe water.

This is not just an environmental crisis. It is a public health emergency and a humanitarian crisis.

ALL EYES ON KALIMANTAN & INDONESIA’S FORESTS!
😭😭😭🌱🧎🧎🧎

‼️ DECLARE A NATIONAL EMERGENCY NOW!
Stop normalisasi Karhutlah

Stop the fire. Enough Talking! Dont too be pride while already suffering. need massive colaboration.

People don’t need endless economic analysis and bullshit excuses. We need to save our natural ecosystems first Mr President

Economic liberalism-capitalism-socialism. has failed our forests. Now time for inner peace. Not just a concept ideologi

When natural ecosystems collapse, millions of people and countless other creatures suffering—not when economic collapse -whatever kapitalis or liberal, will only effested to the 1% elite interests losing their corrupt commissions.

🌏 SAVE THE ECOSYSTEM. SAVE THE PEOPLE. PUT THE FIRE OUT NOW!

Penjelasan tentang setup Rumah Aman Asap (Haze Shelter)
Emergency response berbasis komunitas

Lokasi : HQ @ranuwelum.foundation

@youth_actkalimantan @bigredbuttonsg @wallytham @emmanuelashinta

Emergency response based on community

Menjawab pertanyaan kawan² yg penasaran ttg setting rumah aman asap

Ide sederhana, biaya relatif murah, tapi sangat berguna buat mereka yg sesak napas akibat karhutla
