summer ✨ got to be with my people. bought an espresso machine. learned to play mahjong. read some books. traveled a bit. probably could’ve worked on my dissertation a lil more 🤪 but feeling refreshed and ready for another academic year!

June was three camp trips over 22 days. Capernaum to Carolina Point, Wyldlife to Clearwater Cove, and Young Life back to Carolina Point. I love how excellent Young Life camping can be. But most of all, I love how intentional it is. I’m grateful for the conversations, revelations, and transformations that happened on each of these trips. Some of the most fun guys you can imagine! I’m thankful for the incredible leaders and staff that prayed, planned, pursued, paid, and played so that their friends could experience the love of Jesus in this unique way. Most of all, I could not do it without my family sending me out. Looking forward to some time with them.

YL camp, solo trip, flowers that I was not able to sustain (lol), seeing my bestie’s book in the wild (the wild being the SBC lol), new friends, 8th anniversary- suuuch a good month! ⛺️🎢🎇🗻🤍

Still thinking about the BEST WEEK OF OUR LIVES at Carolina Point!!!! We had the so much fun playing games, singing songs, hanging out at the pool, riding go karts, ziplining, having rockin Young Life clubs, catching fish (bare handed🤯), making new friends, eating good food, and SO MUCH MORE! Most importantly, we learned about Jesus and how much he loves us. Grateful for time spent at Young Life camp!

Hey everyone, I had a great opportunity to work with the @unionedgeprogram and @joniandfriends .

I learned a lot while I was in the field of serving the Lord. I learned what it was like to be in a county with different people that have different disabilities like me and my friends. I was able to work with a family that really helped me experience the difference we had in language barriers. My friend Allen and I were still able to hang out with the kids and family while still having the joy of the Lord with us. I was really grateful for the impact that we had on our family and 14 other people that got saved while we were there at the IFR. This really helped me experience what’s important to help people with disabilities and their families to let them know that they are special and God created them exactly how he created them to be. At my time at Lima, Peru, I did experience some roadblocks, but with everyone’s joy and kindness from the team, volunteers, and families, I was able to serve the Lord and to bring more kindness and joy to my family and others as well.
