I’m very grateful to share that my work is featured in the September issue of @bonappetitmag | It’s an honor to share space in this magazine with so many other incredible individuals.

Lately I’ve been really inspired by the importance of physical media, so this is right on time.

A few days after our third object show in May, this one centered on salt & pepper shakers, we received an exciting inquiry: Bon Appétit wanted to cover our show and feature some of the works in their Eye Candy column. Cut to what felt like minutes later, and the shoot was underway with people that we know and love: Bre Furlong on photo (longtime YOWIE friend and collaborator), Marc Williams on words (former YOWIE intern and photographer), and Emma Ringess on styling (customer and friend of the shop). This moment feels full circle for a few reasons, especially watching our friend Marc grow at Bon Appétit and seeing the artists from our show featured so beautifully. Ten years into YOWIE, highlighting artists and makers remains our mission and we felt so proud and inspired watching this come to life. Thank you, Caroline, Marc, Bre, Emma, and the over one hundred artists who created works for our show. Shake Up appears in the September Best New Restaurants Issue of Bon Appétit, on newsstands now!
