wow. what a perfect time to be alive and to experience deep deep nourishment of each moment, the endless creation and dedication that is cultivated through all expression, and the sacred love that is put into this music, this beautiful gathering, this community, and celebration of life. I have no words for how grateful I am for my shakori family, even if our interaction was brief. this music and place brings us together in such a magikal way, to shine our lights, and to dance till our feets can’t take it no more 🫶 this shakori was definitely one for the books I am so inspired and have never felt more like myself. so thank you @shakorihillsgrassroots and thank you to all the volunteers and staff that work so hard to put this beautiful event together. this place is so special to my heart and soul, so thank you again shakori for filling me up with so much love and light. may the shakori energy continue to reflect in our daily lives and experiences. more pictures to come!💃🏻🔥🌀✨🌟🫶🥺🥰

Billy String Beach getaway… yeah huh!
Super grateful to have seen family and cant wait to go back soon! Savannah next week. I got shut out all three nights but so grateful to get to dance in the woods! Love each and every one of you! Thank you @billystrings @sunsofstars @coyoterodeo @mark.lavengood for putting on such amazing shows!

I’m going to need at least a week to process the incredible weekend kicking off the Billy Strings spring tour in beautiful St. Augustine.

Four days of non-stop production that was a total blast — reconnecting with old friends, making new ones and experiencing enough Billy Magic moments that I’m convinced we’re only just starting this journey.

Am hugely grateful to the BMFS community that’s been so warm, welcoming and fun to get to know. A huge thanks to everyone who said hello, shared stories and sat down with us to talk on camera.

Special thanks to Sam at @spinsterabbotts, Sara at @shopvelvetbutterfly, Pieroguys @pieroguys and River Gott for letting us interview in your places of business.

And it was awesome to catch up with @kaleidoscopiclovelight and @emmaunipu

To finish it all off with a burner of a show that included a slew of stuff I hadn’t seen live (Psycho, Lumpy, Wargasm) was almost overwhelming.

Too many new friends to count and so many stories to hear. If I didn’t catch you in Augie, know that I’m in this for the long haul and plan to hear yours soon. Drop me a line.

Still processing that Obscura is over, but so happy I got to work with people I trust and love SO much.

I am so heartbroken that my Wednesdays will not be spent with them anymore, but I’m grateful for the time I got to spend with this cast (some have been with me for THREE YEARS… what?!?) and everybody who helped and supported along the way.
