Praise God for all my adventures at the greatest camp!!

One of the sweetest gifts God blessed me with this summer was the people He gave me. 😊

The second half of the summer was definitely different. The weeks flew by, the goodbyes got harder, and I realized how much I had grown to love the people I got to spend every day with.

I’m so thankful for every group of campers I had this summer. Every week brought new personalities, new stories, and new things to learn. I came to teach them, but I learned so much from them too, and I know I’ll remember each group for a long time.

This year, I felt closer to the staff than I ever have before. I got so much closer to people I already knew from past summers, and it was so cool getting to see those friendships grow. I also met so many new people this summer who became really good friends so quickly. I honestly didn’t expect to get this close to so many people.

Camp brings people together in such a unique way. We spent long days together, got tired together, laughed way too much, helped each other through hard days, and made so many memories.

I’m so thankful for every person God put around me this summer. Whether I’ve known you for years or only met you this summer, you made GAC so much better. I’m so lucky to have these people in my life, and I genuinely don’t know what I would’ve done without y’all! ❤️

This summer at GAC was easily the best summer I’ve had as a counselor. 🤍

The Lord answered so many prayers, reminded me of His faithfulness, and reconnected my heart with Him in a way I didn’t know I needed. I’ve always had faith that He was there, but there is something so special about feeling His presence and seeing His answers so clearly.

The first half of the summer was filled with so much joy, curiosity, questions, and conversations about Jesus. I came to teach campers about the Lord, but they taught me so much, too. I got to hear their stories, learn about the lives they’ve already lived, and witness the ways God was already working in their hearts. Their questions challenged me, their curiosity reminded me to never stop seeking, and their willingness to talk about the hard things they were going through at such a young age reminded me that you can have a relationship with Jesus at any stage of life.

This job is so incredibly fulfilling. Thank You, Lord, for another summer at GAC and for reminding me just how faithful You are!

Serving where he has called me to be!🌈💗🏕️

My first summer as a counselor, and it’s hard to put into words how much I’ve grown. God has shown me the beauty of doing life with people who constantly point you to Him and doing the work he has taught us to do. So grateful for this place that is fueled by his work and laughter.
