My third Texas FFA state convention was such a blast. Let’s recap some of the things that happened I made new friends, grew in my leadership, heard inspiring words from the state officers, got my lonestar degree, and got some cool shirts.

I’m so extremely grateful I got to experience Texas FFA’s 96th state convention!!!! And I’m grateful for the people I got to experience it with!! Hurricane beryl couldn’t keep Texas away!! With over 11,000 members attending!!! This was an amazing experience that I will never forget🩷 I’m so proud of everyone from Cain who got their lone star degree!!!! I have a HUGE shoutout to Payton!! Payton even tho this was your first year in FFA you threw yourself into it and everything it offered. You did everything that was offered through our chapter and I’m so extremely proud of you! And I’m so excited to see what you do next year!

Welllll Hurricane Beryl you tried your best…but YOU COULDN’T KEEP TEXAS FFA AWAY!!! My second ever Texas FFA State Convention was an absolute blast, attending general sessions and workshops grew my leadership which grew the leader that I am. Thank you to the Klein Cain FFA state convention attendees for making this week so much fun. But overall my favorite part was seeing old friends and making so many more!!!! I cannot wait for the 97th Annual Texas FFA State Convention 365 days away!!! “You don’t gotta get locked in, if you stay locked in” -Ian Heath, Retired Georgia State FFA President

Okay… what word do I use for a week that was exciting, exhausting, energizing, long, informative, fun, adventurous, but yet so short. I had an absolute blast from a hotel with a/c after the storm, a concert and fun night, amazing talent show, cool speakers, friendship bracelets, late nights, early mornings, new friends, learned lessons, and a raging storm on the way home. 😂 wish I could do this again but being a senior this will be my one and only time and I wouldn’t change anything about this trip as it was the best 1st and only experience at state convention and I hope to hold these memories forever with my life long friends! @area3ffa @klein_cain_ffa
