This past summer was such a wild and unique experience for me, and the people I spent it with were what kept me sane. To the 2026 Boston Crusaders, thank you so much for everything. For the time spent goofing off in rehearsal, or melting into a puddle on the Pops buses, or any number of the other adventures we went on this summer. This was the most fun I've had in a long time, and I can't wait to share another summer with my best friends in the world.

When one door closes…

How do I even begin to sum all of this up into words? I’ll probably spend the rest of my life trying to, if I’m being honest.

Drum Corps has always been so much more to me than just marching band and flags on a field. I’ve come out of every season over the last four years a different, and somehow better, person than when I started.

When I first began this chapter of my life, I was at a corps I never really imagined leaving. It was what made me fall in love with this crazy activity, and I’ll forever cherish my time there and the forever friends I gained along the way. Always your biggest fan, Troopers.
I am, you are >”<

Unfortunately, sometimes life has other plans. In January of 2025, my sister passed away. At the time, doing drum corps felt impossible. Being away from home felt impossible. Leaving my mom alone felt impossible. And imagining myself doing something that was supposed to be fun and happy when I felt the exact opposite seemed impossible. So I made the choice not to march, or so I thought.

A few months later, in a kind of unexpected way, the opportunity to come to Crown kinda fell into my lap. You could call it fate (lol), but it was exactly what I needed when I didn’t know I needed it.

That season not only made me fall in love with Crown, but it gave me a purpose and an outlet when I needed one most. Singing “Smile” with the guard will forever hold such a special place in my heart.

“Smile through your fear and sorrow.”

I’ll never quite be able to thank everyone who marched that summer enough. You helped me more than you’ll ever know.

And then there was 2026.

I can tell you now that I knew it was going to be a good one from the start. There is something so incredibly special about this group of people, and it has truly been an honor to bring this production to life alongside them.

While it’s bittersweet to close this chapter of my life, I know I’m ready for whatever comes next.

Thank you to everyone who made this the best age out I could have ever imagined. It truly has been the time of my life.

Always and forever, in my mind 👑🔑
