Hoy conmemoramos el Día Internacional de la Mujer Emprendedora.

Y hoy celebro algo que me llena de orgullo: haber sido una de las 40 mujeres seleccionadas entre más de 1.000 postulaciones para ser parte del programa AWE – Academy for Women Entrepreneurs, una iniciativa financiada por la @usembassybogota , la @camaracomerbog y @hub.iex

Ha sido un año de retos, aprendizajes, inspiración y sororidad.
Un año que me recordó por qué nació Frontino Cervecería:
para crear cerveza con propósito,
para contar historias de conservación
y para demostrar que las mujeres también lideramos la industria cervecera.

Gracias a mis compañeras por su fuerza.
Gracias a AWE por abrir caminos.
Gracias a todas las mujeres que emprenden y transforman.

Hoy celebro este logro, pero también celebro la fuerza femenina que sostiene sueños, empresas y territorios.

Now it’s time to share what happened at the main event in Bogotá on Friday — and what a day it was. This was the moment when the winners’ names were revealed, and these winners are the ones who fast-track directly to the semifinals.

It all started with the buzzing crowd at Colombia Tech Week: tech leaders exchanging stories and building connections.

Then we moved into the event room. After a quick introduction of the event and jury board, 10 bold founders took the stage. One by one, they pitched their ideas while the jury listened closely. The pitches were strong, making it a tough call to decide who deserved to be fast-tracked to the semifinals.

The evening continued at Monaco Rooftop, where we gathered for a private party with our partners Cube Ventures. Investors, influencers, founders, and industry leaders filled the room — the perfect setting to announce the results.

Before that, Santiago Rojas Montoya from Cube Ventures gave a speech, followed by a fireside chat on the present and future of VC in Latin America. Huge thanks to Gregorio Londoño for moderating, and to panelists Paola Angulo, Lina Maria, Jose Garcia Herz, and Roberto Ponce Romay, who closed with the fund’s pitch.

Big thank you to Cube Ventures, Meridian75, Santiago, and David Ortiz Muñoz for making this event possible.

After final remarks from Aurora and Cube Ventures, the three winners making it into the Aurora Tech Award 2026 Top 30 were announced:
Congratulations to Catalina Isaza (Innmetec), Estefania Abello (MUTA), and Angela Acosta (Morado). By bypassing thousands of participants and going straight to the Top 30, you proved that Colombia has the boldest female founders in this unprecedented event.

After a month-long rollercoaster, we collected the applications and selected 10 founders from Colombia to pitch at our event during Colombia Tech Week. And let us tell you, it was one of the toughest selections we have ever made.

Our event in Bogotá drew 78 incredible local founders. Some are serial entrepreneurs like Angela Acosta from Morado, some are featured in top economic think-tank lists like Camila Ramirez from Mekan, others are groundbreaking researchers like Catalina Isaza from Innmetec. But all of them are unstoppable female founders who build no matter what.
