First of all, shout out to everyone involved here! When I got these photos I was so excited to see where I could take it. I found myself stuck at points learning how to create these c4d renders but when things started working out I knew this would come together well. I also want to take a moment to thank you all for saying my name in places I’m not in and recommending me amongst your peers. I am extremely appreciative, thank you!

my final editorial for my fashion studio class (scroll bb!!)

Throughout my undergraduate career at Columbia College Chicago, it has been quite a struggle to stay motivated as a creative. The pandemic hit right as I was supposed to be applying for internships & getting into my fashion concentration courses. I struggled to find the motivation to create, as my true passion is studio work…and the campus (including my second home, the Columbia photo studios) was completely shut down. It really affected me…it affected ALL of us…and I wanted to find some way to push the narrative of my final editorial, what I view as the culmination of my undergraduate career, to somehow relate this event we have all endured to fashion. I have truly been looking forward to creating this project since my first days as a freshman at Columbia College Chicago, and I cannot believe it’s all said-and-done. It only seemed appropriate that my former roommate, one of my best friends, and one of my favorite models, @megmaune , modeled for me. I was thrilled when she was just as excited as I was about the concept and she was totally up for the challenge. Meg & I have been creating work together since our first days in Chicago back in 2018, and it’s wonderful to see how far we’ve come, as creatives as well as human beings.
I cannot thank my team enough for helping me to execute this project.
