Yoga in early childhood is about so much more than poses. 🧘‍♀️✨

Through movement, stretching, balancing, breathing, and playful imagination, children are strengthening their bodies while also building focus, confidence, coordination, mindfulness, and emotional regulation.

Some moments are calm and peaceful, some are silly and full of giggles — and all of it is meaningful learning.

We love watching the children encourage one another, try new poses bravely, and connect with their bodies through joyful movement in the fresh air. 🌿🤍

Yoga in early childhood is about so much more than movement. 🧘‍♀️✨

Through stretching, balancing, breathing, and playful poses, children are strengthening coordination, body awareness, concentration, confidence, and emotional regulation; all while having fun together outdoors.

In Montessori-inspired environments, movement is an essential part of learning.

Yoga gives children opportunities to slow down, listen to their bodies, practice mindfulness, and connect with themselves and one another in positive ways.

Some moments are calm and grounding, while others are filled with laughter and joy; and all of it is meaningful.

Watching children move, stretch, and encourage one another reminds us that childhood was never meant to be spent sitting still all day. 🌿🤍

There’s something different about women gathering together.

You can feel it right away.

The older I get, the more I value these spaces…
being surrounded by women, sharing energy, supporting each other, just existing together without effort.

There’s something sacred in it.
Soft, but at the same time really powerful.

Women circles, retreats…
It’s a completely different kind of energy.

It brings me so much joy to be part of it and to bring sound to space like this.

Thank you Emily for creating this beautiful Ojai trip 💕

Next one is April 19th. come join us.
