a gentle reminder to never compare yourself to others. there's no comparison between the sun and the moon; they both shine in their own time. 🤍

Never in a million years would I have thought I would be telling my story to a room full of people genuinely and curiously wanting to learn more about mental health.

I am grateful for the opportunity to have spoken at the Working Stronger conference this year. I presented a topic that caused people to think about how genuinely easy it is to check in on someone. I shared my story, about how I was saying I was fine all the time, and how everyone in my life believed it until I disappeared.

The session was such a breath of fresh air, there were real talks, there were tears, and there was a lot of shared understanding that you don't have to be a special counselor or someone professional to make that human connection. If there's one thing we lack as a whole human race, it's connection.

So let this be your reminder, your story isn't over, and you weren't meant to do this whole life thing alone. Believe in yourself, and your strength, because one day your story may be the inspiration that fuels a whole room to try and do better.. to make that connection.

Thank you CMHA for inviting me to speak this year. 🤍

Yesterday I got to take part in the Got Your Six- 6km run in support of @albertafirstresponders, and in support of First Responder Mental Health and Suicide Prevention.

For those that don't know, 'Got your Six' means 'I have your back'. In the first response world it is especially important that we have each other's back, and that's why this run is so important to me. As someone that works on healthcare's front lines and as a responding firefighter, I know deep in my core that having each other's back is the only way that we make it through the hard things.

While on the course, it was incredible to see how everyone had each other's back. While they were running, walking, rucking, people stopped to wait for their groups, slowed down if they needed to, and encouraged other people to keep going even when they wanted to stop. It was a beautiful day, with an even more beautiful message. You're not alone.

I got to see my pals at OSI-CAN and Wounded Warriors Canada, and chat with many more first responders throughout the morning.

Though I only fundraised just over $100, the total funds raised surpassed their goal and is going towards work toward the 1st Health Mobile Support Unit, a specialized mobile psychological crisis triage space designed to support rural Alberta frontline members on scene following traumatic deployments, while helping bring free training to first responders across the province.

I will never stop talking about the importance of taking care of one another, or mental health, and I can't wait to see what else is in store.

In case you missed it... the Resilient Reign Workbooks are officially LIVE! 🤍

Whether you're a delegate preparing to step on the stage, or a titleholder navigating your reign, I created these guides to help you! Having been through the experience a few times over, both as a delegate and a titleholder has taught me a few things and I've learned a lot of valuable things from many amazing people throughout the years.

My goal was to give back to the sisterhood that I've been lucky enough to be a part of for all these years. As Mrs. Personality Canada, this was one of the biggest goals I set for myself amongst my other ventures.

Do you want to grab a copy completely free? Drop a comment below or DM me directly, and I'll get them sent to you! 🤍

When I started my pageant journey back in 2022, I had no idea how many incredible women I would meet along the way. Seven pageants later, serving as Mrs. Personality Canada 2026, my biggest goal and promise was to find a meaningful way to give back to the community that has surrounded me these past 4 years.

Today, I am so proud to announce the launch of Resilient Reign @resilient.reign !

With Resilient Reign, my goal is to build a community of strong women who support one another, break free from comparison, and lead with grace under pressure. Over these past few months, I've been pouring my heart into creating workbooks tailored specifically for both delegates and titleholders to prioritize their mental wellness and growth, and they will be officially dropping this week!

Thank you all for being a part of this journey, I can't wait to give back to my girlies in pageantry. 🤍

Last night, I attended the Bridge of Life for Suicide Prevention Day. I wore a t-shirt with a simple semi-colon on the front, wrapped with the words: Keep Going, Keep Growing.

In writing, an author uses a semi-colon when they could have ended a sentence, but chose not to. The author is you, and the sentence is life.

For a long time (and to be completely transparent and vulnerable sometimes even still), I wore a mask that said everything was fine. And you see people, they look like they have it all together, they're the happy ones, the funny ones, and the ones who seemingly have no problems, that are the people who are carrying some heavy weights on their chests.

Mental health isn't something that just affects someone else. It took me to the absolute edge, and if it weren't for a good friend who cared enough to call in a wellness check when things went dark, my sentence would've ended right there. That single act of care saved my life.

That is why I fight so hard for mental health advocacy and awareness. It's something that's personally affected me, and it has touched the lives of so many people that I love.

Humanity doesn't need more tearing down or judgement, we need to build each other up. We need to look in the mirror and ask ourselves: Are we being kind to people even when nobody is watching? Are we truly checking in on the friends who always seem "strong"?

If you are fighting a battle that nobody knows about, please remember your story isn't over yet. Choose to keep going, and choose to keep growing; because you belong here.

Finally catching up on all the fun things we got to do this past weekend! On Saturday, I had the privilege of attending the eats and beats event at the Westridge Wolf Willow Country Club Community League, and they sure didn't disappoint! I got to meet up with my sister queens, meet tons of families, and have a blast! There were so many cool and unique food trucks, and so many things for everyone to do! They even had a petting zoo!

Thank you to @miss_sadiefriesen for getting this all set up! The kids loved it, and families were having such a good time. 🤍

Swipe to the end to see us get photo bombed by a clown 🤡

On Friday, my second event was the Canada Lifestyle Fashion Show, and we are so grateful to the organizers for extending such a warm invitation to the PPC titleholders.

It was such a lovely evening from the start to finish! Watching the incredible talent, vision, and handiwork of all the featured designers was so lovely. Beyond the fashion, getting to connect and share conversations with so many people made the night even more special!

A special thank you to the organizers, Alisha, and my PPC sister queens because sharing these moments with you is always such a treat. Thank you to the entire event team, the models, and designers, as well as the delicious food team that provided delicious food, for hosting us on such a memorable night! 🤍

From the mat to the crown, there's no place like home. 🤍

The energy at Fridays Forge class (Crowns And Curls) was so fun. Looking back on my entire experience, I'm constantly reminded that success is never a solo journey, it's built on the strength of the community that lifts you up along the way.

To my Rooted family, your belief in me through everything and your endless encouragement behind the scenes have meant more than words could ever say. To everyone who came out to sweat, smile, celebrate and wear a cute tiara for class, you make this so special. 🤍

I am grateful beyond measure for this incredible community.

Thank you again Jenn and the whole Rooted team! I couldn't have done it without you all. 🥹
