🎀 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month 🎀

This month is a reminder of the importance of awareness, early detection, strength, and the incredible resilience of those affected by breast cancer. 💗

I recently had the privilege of working a charity event honoring breast cancer survivors, spreading awareness and supporting a cause that means so much to so many.

During that very event, I received the heartbreaking news that someone very close to me had lost their battle with another type of cancer. In that moment, the purpose behind the event became even more personal. It took all I had to hold it together after this news was broken to me. Every story hit much harder.

Today, Atlanta Communities, Gobin & Co, my fellow REALTORS® and I stand with the survivors, honor those still fighting, remember the beautiful lives we’ve lost, and recognize the families and loved ones who walk alongside them.

Awareness matters. Early detection matters. Every story matters. 💕

Here’s to supporting one another, celebrating strength, and continuing to spread hope—not just in October, but every day.

As we settle into the month of October, we cannot pass up the opportunity to acknowledge Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 🎗️💕🧚🏾‍♂️ Remedy has had the honor of being in the presence of survivors at The Tata’s, TuTu’s & Ties brunch hosted by EmpowHer & Him Organization @empowherandhim

Our bouquet was presented by @remedyrosesx to the Honoree Guest Speaker @andrahallliving The Founder of Cami Cakes Cupcakes, as she shared her story as a breast cancer survivor.

There is something so special about giving women their flowers while they’re still here to receive them, especially those whose strength and stories inspire others. 🌸 A beautiful reminder to celebrate survivors, honor those we’ve lost, support those still fighting, and never underestimate the power of early detection.

Tonight at @lipsatl , they celebrated women who have beaten breast cancer and those who continue to fight, not just for what they endured, but for the lives they continue to live, the strength they continue to show, and the hope they inspire in others.

6 survivors. 6 powerful stories. One beautiful celebration of life, strength, and resilience. 💗🎀. Love you @ms_g_rod

Be sure to follow @empowherandhim . Thank you for the education and all that you do for those who are challenged with cancer.

Pink with a purpose. 💗🎀

Sunshine, movement, fresh juices, and a community showing up for something meaningful. We loved being part of Pilates in Pink with @cerenecorestudio and led by @denishaxfit, honoring those affected by breast cancer.

Thank you to @cerenecorestudio for bringing us together and @empowherandhim for sharing your mission with the community. To everyone who stopped by for a juice and showed All Good Juices love, thank you for making us part of your morning. 💛

Juice made clean. Juice with purpose.

What an event!

Having the opportunity to strut for something I truly support meant more to me than I can put into words.

A huge thank you to @empowherandhim for giving me the opportunity to hit the runway for Strut for Strength and, more importantly, for the work you do to support breast cancer survivors. 🎀

And can we talk about this iridescent jumpsuit?! Thank you, @designerben , for allowing me to wear such an incredible piece. The moment I put it on, I felt like a SUPERHERO. 🦸🏾‍♀️

And in many ways, that’s exactly what this journey has made me feel like. Going through breast cancer requires a strength you don’t even know you have until you’re called upon to use it. To come out on the other side and have the opportunity to STRUT in celebration of that strength? Whew. What a full-circle moment. 💗

Yesterday, I didn’t just walk a runway. I strutted for every version of me that fought to get here.

Thank you for the opportunity to shine, celebrate and STRUT FOR STRENGTH! 🎀❤️‍🩹🎀#tnbcwarrior #breastcancerawareness
