As my birthday is approaching, I’ve been reflecting about this past year’s successes, lessons learned, opportunities and most importantly my growth.

With more than half of our year being consumed by #COVID19, this has been a year of clarity for me in business, friendships, mentally and spiritually. I’m able to see beyond the parties, lit brunches and vacations. This year I chose to take care of myself more and to go after every single thing that I desire for MY life and my legacy.

When it’s all said and done, YOU are responsible for your legacy and creating a life that you love to live. This pandemic is not a time to sleep on yourself or rely on others to create your happiness, go get to the bag.

This journey has truly been one for the books. I faced things that I never thought I would overcome. I pushed myself to limits I thought I could never push myself to. I really questioned myself so many TIMMEESSS like “what the hell am I doing here why did I sign up for this?!?” But going through this process I surly went through the motions and truly seen Gods purpose for me & why he has placed me here. God allowed me to learn the unthinkable lessons I never thought you could even learn. Everything that Teacher for America and Relay has taught me will always be embedded in my life forever. My perspective has changed for the better. My purpose has been strengthened and I can fully say it equipped me with the foundational skills to be successful Black woman in this world. I can’t wait to see what God has in store for me🌍🇳🇬🤍✨
