So many takeaways from the most incredible three days spent up in the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains with Vanguard. 1 - The Jersey girls unapologetically do it a certain kind of way - with lots of door dashed Starbucks, rowdy music-filled van rides and a whole bunch of unfiltered feedback, but we're pretty sure they can't help but love us for all of it and we can't wait to share the productive outcomes with you. 2 - The Vanguard brand, which our clients and friends alike already know has been a go-to source for us over the past 9 years that we've been in business, is far better than we even knew for so many reasons - a toss up between the unbelievable family that continues to evolve and expand the company without ever compromising its morals, the unmatched combination of quality, breath of product and value that it produces, and the fact that (despite a dedication to remaining on the forefront of technology, which they have) every piece is still almost entirely crafted at the hand of highly skilled humans (so no, AI can't do it all). 3 - There is so much to learn and love about this forever changing and wildly rewarding, albeit very complex industry, but, at its core, the unwavering support across the design community and our truly special partners and producers like Vanguard, are the reason that we can continue to get up and do this very challenging job every day. A very special thank you to Vanguard and the Bray family, along with @wildwindboone, for hosting such an incredibly meaningful and unforgettable experience. One of the many reasons that we will be endlessly loyal to you, and continuously driven to educate our clients on what makes the beautiful home that they've poured their heart and soul into, stand the test of time with every piece that tells its story.

So much to recap from Market, but as I {Carlie here!} go through all the photos and content from the beautiful showroom, I had to take a moment to appreciate Jay and Elaine. Their depth of knowledge and experience in this industry really stood out all week. More than once, I was asked about our extension tables, and without missing a beat, Jay stepped in with a quick demo. He walked through how the dining leg tables extend and explained how the pedestal tables function in a similar way with a few key differences. It’s moments like that that remind you how valuable true product knowledge is, especially when helping designers and retailers feel confident in what they’re specifying and selling. Looking forward to Vanguard University next week.
