Sheriff’s Girl (2025) by @emsmarcretha portrays the sheriff’s elusive lover: always wrapped in fur and followed by whispers. Everyone knows of her, yet no one has ever seen her face.

Some say she is hiding from the law. Others believe she is the reason he became the law.

The truth? She isn’t telling.

Acrylic on canvas
180 x 100 cm

See her at Beerschot. DM us to plan a visit or discover Sheriff’s Girl on our website.

Currently on view at Beerschot’s Olympic Stadium: French Kiss (2025).

Meet @emsmarcretha, a Dutch artist based in Apeldoorn.

Through acrylic paint, gemstones and texture paste, she turns passing impressions into bold statement pieces.

On a terrace in Paris, she watched the waiters move between tables: tailored suits, slicked-back hair, the occasional moustache and that distinctly French balance of elegance and healthy arrogance.

As the scene found its way onto canvas, only one thing was missing.
A French kiss.

Acrylic on canvas
150 × 150 cm

On view at @kbeerschotva until 06/12. DM us to plan a visit or discover and purchase the work through our website.

En last but not least, een jaar van weer mega veel avonturen met @tanishasaphira - on to many more.

Nou, tering lang verhaal weer, waarvan de helft al is afgehaakt, maar mocht je er nog zijn dan rust mij alleen nog het laatste;

De laatste foto says it all, mijn motto voor 2025; zege het leven, carpe diem, viva la vida. Hoe je het ook wilt noemen; grab it by the balls en maak er wat van! Maar onthoudt meiden, zeker vanavond; we listen, but we don’t judge!
