It’s unusual for me to write so candidly here, but it feels significant so I thought fuck it! Why not.

Last week marked 7 months since I decided stop drinking. I’ve always had a troubled relationship with alcohol and this time one year ago, I couldn’t have fathomed where I would be now, let alone addressing it in such a manner.

My life has improved IMMEASURABLY. I feel confident, I feel hopeful and most of all, I feel incredibly proud of myself!

I’m also having more fun than I’ve ever had. Even on the days where perhaps I don’t feel as sure of myself.

Feels quite bizarre to be speaking like this as I’m immensely private and very casual about the whole thing, but it feels important and it really means a lot to me so I wished to express it.

These have undoubtedly been the best months of my life thus far and I absolutely cannot wait for what’s to come! 🥰

Gratitude Alert!

Had the most gorgeous couple of weekends with my friends, some old, some fairly new but it’s been amazing bonding and deepening friendships with every single one 💜

I’m still trying to adjust to life at the moment and I am still finding things difficult! But as the sun is slowly beginning to shine it gets a tiny bit easier and I have felt absolutely wrapped up with love by everyone which has truly been amazing.

Had THE best time at @southportweekender - there aren’t really words to do it justice about how good it was. The music was on point, the vibes were amazing and it feels like being welcomed back to a big happy family every time! Can’t wait for next year 💜

Next up was @anthea.gurner birthday, we saw @tonydevitfilm at the BFI (truly incredible piece of work and I can’t wait for it to fully get released!) followed by a lovely weekend in London. There was so much love in the air for @anthea.gurner my heart still feels like it’s going to burst - I love you so much!

I feel very lucky and truly blessed to have such amazing people in my life 💜💜💜
