@dartartsretreat felt like a dream ☁️🌈🌅

Being surrounded by so many talented and dedicated rope dartists who share the same love for this martial flow art was extremely inspiring. We felt lucky to take classes from experts like @ladylion___ and @frankhatsis_ropedartist from @ropedartacademy, @amazing_zihni, @flowstyle_kyle, and many more. It helped us advance our knowledge of both the flow and martial art sides of rope dart & it was an epic time to join together and play fun games, and end each night with a burn circle. 🔥

We wish we had more time to take classes from the other instructors, but the time we did have was priceless. We would love to do it all again next year, it was the best time and such a great learning experience! ✨

Thank you to everyone who attended Dart Arts retreat ‘26 and made it special. Huge thanks to the Dart Arts team for putting this together, to @emziwan for bringing the smoke bombs & encouraging me to come (you were so sweet to me and we’re glad we got to learn from you at flame!), @flowstyle_kyle for taking smoke dart videos of us & for the great untethered rope dart class that broke our brain 🤯, and to all the teachers and performers! You left us truly inspired and ready to get more artsy dartsy! 😄☄️

Special thanks to our flowmie, teacher, and host @ninjabaconflow for showing us this retreat, for his hospitality, and all of his hard work!! 🔥🔥

Happy with how this prop altar turned out ✨ Two of our crew @emziwan and @freshcornonthejacob got married recently - yay!, and as a wedding gift, we did a community art collab project. It was fun hiding it from them for the past month, while different people worked on it 😜
.
@ropedartacademy made a custom dart for Emily and @apexforksmyth forged a copper button for the clasp. @wyattt.davis made Jacob’s custom batons and I bedazzled it, @soulmindstudios designed and cut the altar, @littlegene.handmade did the lovely painting and @soft.bun and I bejeweled and glittered it up ✨ @_littlegiant_ chainmailed two his & her bracelets that could join as one, and @agni_guy hand-burned henna designs onto the wood. Everything came together, and now all of us want prop altars 🤩

Celebrating Caio’s last day 🥳 Caio was aboard the flowship for 10 years working in all aspects of production from assembly to procurement to production coordination lead, and in his last year learning to code and helping us develop our MRP system 💪🏻 He doesn’t have an active account, so can’t quite tag him here, but we love and miss you Caio and wish you the very best in the next leg of your life journey 🌈
.
@_littlegiant_ made a super yummy beef pot pie, we enjoyed a super dense chocolate cake - just the way Caio likes them, and @_eben_flow_ brought the carton of milk, which was an essential cake pairing. Stella and Fender are smelling the beef pie and looking longingly from Production 🐶 good times 🤩

Just found this old IG ad we did with @aileen.lawlor last year or was it the year before? Time flies. And sometimes we do too and I’ve just been reminded to resurrect our travel collection 🤩
.
This was our first try at using a green screen - tbh it was a green sheet of fabric … @emziwan and I learned a lot - Aileen’s original staff had greenish mermaid tape and that disappeared in the video.. oops. We had a lot of fun storyboarding, Emily found the backdrops, I supplied the copy, but I think our video production talents were not super pro 😜🤷🏻‍♀️ that said the pop’n flow travel staff is excellent and I’d much rather the quality of the product be better than the video quality of the ad 🤩
.
Thank you to @phutureprimitive for enabling us to use his awesome music ✨

How dreamy are those flags ✨ @_littlegiant_ at our recent flowtoys outing with @apexforksmyth on the decks. It was foggy in good ole NorCal July fashion, but we had a great time 🙌

Feel so blessed to have a crew that works hard and plays well 💖

Flowtoys adventure field trip! We went on a long due outing last week with the flowship crew. Zipline adventures + a picnic on the coastal bluffs ✨
.
There was much merriment, a collective construction of a rock & seashell museum, getting terribly “lost” in an open field of tall grass, discovery of Wyatt’s talent as a cow whisperer, and in flowtoys fashion, we had a renegade jam 🤩
.
Love this crew! 🌈
