I just realized I never posted about recital/banquet weekend 🫪
This is 10 years of En Croix Dance Academy, which is crazyyyyyy 🤯 I have been lucky to be apart of this from the very beginning when it was just a small idea- It’s amazing what it has turned into! 🤩 I am so grateful to be apart of this dance family and very thankful to our owners, staff, students & parents! And of course, I’m very thankful to my husband who supports me every step of the way (even when it’s the crazy season which is all year 😅)!
Dance & teaching/choreography is my passion, so to be able to do that everyday is a huge blessing. Not many people get to do what they love for a living so I am very lucky 🤍

The hardest part about graduating and starting college is leaving my “babies” I’ve been an assistant teacher at En Criox for the past 5 years, watching these kids grow into the little people they are is truly insane!! Thank you @en_croix for this amazing opportunity!! Thank you for the teachers that I got to work with throughout the years and guiding me into the person I am today!! And most importantly thank you parents for trusting me with your little ones, working with your kids has been a blessing, they have made me so proud!! I am going to miss all of you so much!!❤️

So proud of my (not so) tiny dancers for their maturity and artistry in this duet. They really trusted each other & performed beautifully. I’ve always loved this song so much 🤍 I think they did an amazing job (especially at their age)- I can’t wait for their next duet!

Best. Night. Ever.

We are truly overwhelmed with the outpouring of support we received as part of our tenth annual Dancing with West Texas Stars, presented by @heb! With the help of this year’s 11 amazing Stars, their talented partners, our generous sponsors, and more community support than ever before, we shattered previous records and raised more than $840,000 for survivors of domestic and sexual violence!

In addition to such exciting fundraising news, we have some big wins to celebrate and share! The 10th annual DWWTS winners are:

Grand Prize: Homer Daniels & Brooklyn Anderson
1st Runner Up: Tim Edgmon & Tatum Hubbard
2nd Runner Up: Tyler Barcena & Emily Hamer

Judge’s Pick: Tim Edgmon & Tatum Hubbard

Best Female Dancer: Isabella Garriga & Erik Tavarez
Best Male Dancer: Tyler Barcena & Emily Hamer
Most Entertaining: Kevin Gray & Kendall Gray
Best Costume: Jamie Anderson & Haley Treviños Martinez

Congratulations and countless thanks to the 2025 performers and everyone else who makes this event possible. We couldn’t have hoped for a better way to celebrate a decade of Dancing with West Texas Stars 🪩
