TEASER THE SILLY-CON VALLEY (2026)

This project portrays a fictional influencer whose image reveals the very mechanisms used to construct it. Exaggerated makeup, calculated styling, and mise en abyme: these are all techniques that subvert the illusion of authenticity inherent in social media, exposing femininity as the performance of a constructed body, a gaze that is imposed, and a staged identity.

I’m very happy to share that Desapercibidas, will be exhibited at La Cité Audacieuse in Paris until July 25th.

Desapercibidas is a photographic project that brings visibility to the stories, strength, and everyday lives of Pilar, Maura, Valeria and María, Latin-American women who have built communities far away from home and often remain unseen. Through portraiture, the project explores themes of identity, memory, migration, and the importance of recognizing the voices that are too often overlooked.

This project was co-created with my dear @crocoqueen and is presented in partnership with @insouciant.tv and @trashcultprod
