⚡ TECHNO TAKEOVER ⚡

That's right, Sorted (@sortedthursdays) is hosting a Techno Takeover this Thursday! We're talking no main room, only the Garden and LED room all night long. 💥

For this exclusive event, we've moved the entrance to the back of the club. You will enter through our Garden Gates, which are located on Rose Street. 🍻

Any questions, shoot us a message! Otherwise we'll see you Thursday! 😮‍💨💪

Few months have passed, but we still remember that our last EPiKA SOFT was pure magic... Thank you to our community for joining us at the @peoples.leisure.club 🌸💖

Our very own Enaen @enaendj took to the stage again to deliver seamlessly blended eclectic mix of tracks. We have captured some of our personal highlights from the set in the carousel above, and you can once again listen to the full setlist on Soundcloud 🥰☘️ Swipe for the tracklist too 🤍

Now we have Enaen who is a resident at EPiKA 🎧🎵

Enaen is a Chicago-born and Scotland-based DJ working to combine traditional Jewish and Yiddish music with deep, hypnotic techno.

She draws inspiration from archival music, spanning from Yiddish folk to synagogue liturgy.

Combining sound samples from memoirs of her family and Jews around the world, her goal is to bring messages of 'doikayt' (hereness) to the dancefloor and make her ancestral music accessible for all. She made her Edinburgh debut in 2023 and has since then played for several clubs and radio stations around Scotland and the UK.

Five years (!) of pushing underground techno, creating a community, running workshops, pre-parties. Five years of living-room party vibe dancefloors, full of the people who have made EPiKA what it is.

To mark our birthday, we’ve launched a new collection of EPiKA merch, worn here by some of the talented people who make up our roster, and photographed by @lifeasanartichoke

You can find the EPiKA store via our new website (yes, that's a thing too!), where you can also find out more about our residents, upcoming events and how to book us. The link both to the merch and to the website is in our bio ;)

Our August celebrations continue🌸
After kicking off our birthday month with Sara Delirio's UK debut, we're back on August 28th to celebrate two milestones that mean a lot to us: five years of EPiKA and one year at People's Leisure Club 🤍
Over the last year, People's Leisure Club has become the place for many unforgettable nights, new friendships and countless hours on the dancefloor. We couldn't imagine a better place to continue the celebrations!

We'll be marking the occasion in the best company, joined by some of the artists who have been part of the EPiKA journey along the way. Whether you've been with us from the beginning or only recently found us, we'd love to celebrate with you. See you on the dancefloor!
