Well that was fun! It was an absolute delight to walk the @santafeindianmarket Native Fashion Show runway for @stevenpauljudd in @ntvsclothing. Our set included hoop dance performances by @notoriouscree and @ericmicha3l, a custom music mix by @emceeone, sneak peaks of the upcoming SPJ x @nike N7 collab, and celeb cameos from the likes of @zahnmcclarnon, @chefpyet, @matowayuhi, and @laylacurtis32. ✨ Jontay Kahm (Plains Cree) @jontay_kahm Opening the show, Jontay is a MFA graduate of Parsons and 2024 Canadian Arts and Fashion Awards Best Emerging Talent, continues his River Lily Park series - merging Plains Cree cultural expression with sculptural form, vibrant color, and nostalgia childhood musings.

✨ Deven Tso (Diné) @cut.n.tso @forge.defiance, new to SWAIA, recent ASU FIDM graduate, presents a collection inspired by the 1892 statement “Kill the Indian, Save the Man” - a powerful reflection on the lasting effects of forced assimilation on Indigenous identity and survival.

✨ Running Horse Studio by Jimmy Dean Horn (Chickasaw) @runninghorsestudio has dressed Indigenous musicians, actors, and performers since its 2025 debut - including a NYFW runway appearance and outfitting Kiowa Gordon for the Dark Winds Season 4 premiere.

✨ Desmon “Day Day” Pack (Skwxwu7mesh/ Dzawada’enuxw) @creatorskidzco @drb.dayday hits the SWAIA runway, founder of Creators Kidz Co. and son of Himikalas Pam Baker, presents a two-chapter collection bridging Indigenous streetwear and Afro-Indigenous couture through reconstructed, upcycled design.

✨ Pamela Baker (Squamish/Kwakwaka’wakw/ Tlingit/Haida) @himikalas founder of T.O.C. Legends House of Design, brings a celebration of her Kwakwaka’wakw lineage - textures evoking family regalia, silhouettes moving with the rhythm of traditional dance, and fabric techniques carrying the depth of ancestral memory. Always bringing us beautify, innovation and story.

✨ Steven Paul Judd (Kiowa/Choctaw) @stevenpauljudd brings pieces from his new collaborations with NTVS, Nike N7, Faherty, and Ginew - a collection rooted in Indigenous storytelling, humor, and contemporary style. He may have some surprises up his sleeve to close out the show.
