2nd year choreographing her own solo

Leona’s journey this year was even tougher than her last - navigating her Freshman year in high school and dealing with a lot of things that really pushed her mental health (bc teens aren’t always the nicest #iykyk) it was pretty scary for a while, there were a lot of unknowns, and we didn’t even know if she was going to compete at all 💔 But by God’s grace and the love of those who truly care about her, she was able to preserver.

To our girl, may you always continue to be true to who you are and always be authentically yourself. You don’t need to prove yourself to anyone, and to those who are committed to misunderstanding you, just let them. You know who you are and that is what matters.

Closing the chapter on this solo with a heart full of gratitude. Thank you to @create.lyss ,Thank you for giving us something beautiful to hold onto.
Thank you to every teacher, teammate, and friend who helped make this season unforgettable. And to my Dear VIOLET, After a season filled with both love and loss, watching you step onto that stage with courage and grace was something I’ll never forget. You danced with your whole heart, and in that moment, you reminded me that strength doesn’t always look loud—sometimes it looks like showing up, smiling, and continuing to do what you love.I’ll forever be proud of you, sweet girl. Keep dancing—for yourself, for your dreams, and for those who will always be cheering you on. 💜🪽
