This year was full of much good but just as much of the good there was bad. I struggled heavily with my mental health, I always have but this year I reached a breaking point. I felt like I was loosing myself and at some point I did. After years of trying to will power threw it all my body and mind almost fizzled out but my beautiful wife, best friend, the light of my life was there to help me threw so much. She picked me back up when she was even at her limits and we helped each other grow more then past years. I love you so much @lanicoletarr99 you have helped me more then I can thank you for. There is not enough gratitude I can show for the amount of love, patience, support, growth and softness you have given me through our relationship but especially this year. Even when you where at your limits mentally and physically you where still there giving your all not just for me but for our future and our love. You have shown me what is to persevere through some of the hardest times and still come out kind and full of love for life an myself. Thank you for always being there for us and for never giving up even when things got hard, I’m so proud of you. I’m so grateful I get to watch you grow in your art and as a person . You are my everything I love you very much, Happy new year my love. Here’s to many new adventures and memories. 🫂❤️

This years wins personally was finding an anti-depressant that helps me, finding a psychologist who not only is one of the the kindest people but has given the proper diagnoses for what I have been going threw and giving me the tools to help me function threw them. We had our first booth at the Barona Tribal gathering this year so it was one of the first steps in my cultural revival journey and learning how to bead, weave, sew and make jewelry. Nicked a couple things off our bucket list from travel destinations to learning new things.

It finally feels like my inner child and teen are healing and seeing their dreams come true. I love them, I love me. An I’m so grateful for all of the love from my family both bio and chosen. You all light up my world and make me feel so seen.

Lots of firsts this past year, poetically speaking, lots of lasts as well. All culminating in the arrival of my son, Kenai. I can’t begin to express how excited I am to build a life with the woman I love most.
