Where do you even began to explain what just happened? The last five years have been interesting that is for sure. We all went through Covid and it shook the world to its core. We saw people who’ve lives changed and mine was one of them. I thought for sure 5 years ago I’d be running D1 track at east carolina studying to be an engineer. The reality is I become an artist, studied jewelry design, and still raced D1 teams with @scadsavbees . My life will has has never been the same since my switch. My classmates became friends and those friends are now more like my family than they will ever know. I couldn’t imagine my life without these people by my side and leaving them after graduation was terrifying. They have been there for me through it all and supported me without question. I know however they aren’t really gone because as the days passed after we all walked the stage together we are still texting and supporting one another. Some we have already made plans to go visit each other. Scad gave me a new look on life and friends who will last a life time so @scaddotedu and @paulaswallace I thank you for this incredible and life changing opportunity.
