Old truck. Modern heart. Thousands of miles ahead. 🇺🇸🔥

@creamsicle.f150 might be a 1978 Ford F150, but underneath that old school exterior is a Gen 2 Coyote 5.0 that’s about to get one hell of a workout!

We’re getting ready to drive this truck from Miami to Las Vegas for SEMA, then keep the adventure going out west before heading home. And when you’re trusting something you’ve built to carry you thousands of miles from home, the little things matter just as much as the big upgrades.

So before we hit the road, we’re giving Creamsicle some love with @amsoilinc Signature Series 5W-20 synthetic motor oil and a fresh Amsoil filter.

I also used the Amsoil app to find the right oil change kit for the Coyote and keep track of the maintenance. Pretty cool having modern technology helping take care of a nearly 50 year old truck. 😂

Building these trucks is one thing. Actually driving them across the country and making memories is what it’s all about.

Some progress on the fummins recently. Grill modified, bumper mocked up, wiring harness started. Going 12v ac compressor and condenser with under dash kit plumbed to the factory vents. Needa get this thing painted! And 8” lift with 37s installed #2006f350 #1986f350 #bullnose #fummins #12vcummins

Bittersweet seeing this one officially live on Bring a Trailer. A lot of time, memories, and love went into this Blazer, but life happens and sometimes it’s time to let one go and move on to the next chapter.

Hopefully she finds a great new home with someone who appreciates her as much as we have.

From preparation to paint, my C10 is moving into the next stage of the build @artisticcustoms

The cab, doors, fenders and hood are now in color, following extensive preparation to ensure straight panels and a consistent finish. The bed is still in fabrication and will be completed before it receives paint and the truck moves into final assembly.

Next, Ken will finish the bed, paint the remaining components, reassemble the truck and complete the final details ahead of its debut @dinosgitdown this November.
