Butter-Seared Scallops + Roasted Red Pepper Coulis & Double Grape Tartare. Definitely Date Night Material. Recipe below ↓

Roasted Red Pepper Coulis
* 2 red pointed peppers
* 1 small shallot, finely chopped
* 1 glove of garlic, finely diced
* 1 tbsp olive oil
* 1 tsp sherry vinegar
* 20–40 ml bouillon
* ½ tsp smoked paprika powder

Double Grape & Kaffir Lime Tartare
* 80 g red grapes
* 80 g green grapes
* 1 kaffir lime leaf, finely grated
* 1 tsp lime juice
* ½ green jalapeño, finely diced
* Red chili flakes
* 1 tsp culinary argan oil (I used the bottle that @enjoyarlo gifted me), but olive oil works too
* Flaky salt

Scallops & Garnish
* A few large scallops (I plate 1 but eat 4 :-))
* 15 g butter
* 1 tsp neutral oil
* jalapeño slices
* purple edible flowers
* Flaky salt

Method
1. Torch then roast peppers at 230°C for 20–25 min until blistered. Cover for 10 min, then peel and deseed.
2. Sauté shallot and olive oil in olive oil until soft. Blend with peppers and vinegar and 20–40 ml bouillon until silky and pourable. Season and pass through a fine sieve and add some salt and smoked paprika powder.
3. Finely dice both grape varieties. Toss with kaffir lime zest, kaffir lime juice, diced jalapeño, chili flakes, argan oil and flaky salt. Refrigerate until serving.
4. Pat scallops dry and season. Heat neutral oil over medium-high heat, sear scallops for 1½–2 min until golden. Flip, add butter and baste for 30–60 sec.
5. Place a plating ring in each bowl. Arrange grape tartare around the outside, pour coulis into the centre and carefully remove the ring.
6. Top with a scallop, jalapeño slice, purple edible flower and flaky salt.

@enjoyarlo Culinary Argan Oil + @thecoconutcult ✨🌿

Argan oil on yogurt might sound unexpected, but this combination is seriously so good.

Creamy coconut yogurt, berries, banana, a little crunch, and a drizzle of ARLO Culinary Argan Oil for a smooth, warm, nutty finish.

Simple, different, and definitely worth trying. 💙

Tried @vanleeuwenicecream Strawberry Matcha Latte with @enjoyarlo Culinary Argan Oil and I did not expect this combo to work this well 🌰 🍓🍵✨

The argan oil adds this warm, nutty finish that makes the ice cream taste even better.

Definitely one to try. 🌿

Apparently I’ve only known half the story about argan oil. 😂

I’ve seen argan oil in hair products, skincare and fancy spa-looking bottles for YEARS… but culinary argan oil you can actually eat? Completely new to me.

@enjoyarlo sent me their culinary-grade argan oil to try, and first of all, can we talk about this bottle? It looks exactly like the luxurious beauty product I already associate with argan oil. 😂

But the oil itself surprised me even more.

It pours almost like honey and feels noticeably thicker than the olive oils I normally cook with. And the FLAVOR — so good. Really rich, toasted and nutty.

My first thought was that this would be incredible as a finishing oil or bread dipping oil. Give me warm bread, a good spread, maybe some flaky salt and this drizzled over the top. And I already know I need to try it over hummus.

This was my first time trying Moroccan culinary argan oil, and now I’m wondering what else I should put it on.

What would YOU try it on first?

Gifted by @enjoyarlo. Opinions are my own.

I didn’t know argan oil belonged in the kitchen until I tried ARLO.

I used this cold-pressed, single-ingredient culinary argan oil to sauté the shrimp for my creamy shrimp fettuccine, then finished the dish with a drizzle right on top.

It has such a unique, delicious flavor and adds the perfect finishing touch to a meal.
