Thank you GFL Season 2026

You’ve probably been the toughest season up until this point.

But we still learned a lot. Still improved a lot. Still overcame adversity a lot. Still showed resilience. Still kept going. Still clinched a playoff spot. Still played the best season in the last 14 years of this program.
Still got to coach a group of incredibly talented young men. Still in love with the game.

I gave this group my all and got back more than I could’ve ever asked for.

Still not satisfied.
Process over Results.

The man who believed in me, trusted me and made all of this possible in the first place.

The man who was all in from day 1 and never backed down even when it would’ve been easy.

The group that I cannot thank enough for putting up with some 24 year old in his first year as DC. Y’all were what kept me going this season.

The moments and connections I do it for.

The looks of the process.

The man who FINALLY found his way onto the sideline.

The love that will never fade when calculating, scheming, adjusting and teaching.

IG has been dry for a good min, too much life to live.
The days get longer. The tasks get harder. So I am grateful for another opportunity to struggle.
What a blessing it is to do so in the area of your choosing.

🇺🇸:
Offense - James Okike
James was unstoppable, finding the end zone twice and adding a clutch 2-point conversion. On top of that, he delivered big plays at exactly the right moments, keeping our offense rolling and the momentum on our side.

Defense - Ennes Oberheitmann
Ennes was a force on defense, racking up tackles all game long and coming through with a crucial sack that forced a punt. That play gave our offense a short field during our comeback run and we made it count!

Ennes Oberheitmann ist ready for more! 🏈🔥

Let’s go, @ennes_ey! 💪🐾
