Flotsam River Circus! Here is a 5-minute video I made to commemorate a very special 2026 tour with the little-raft-circus-that-could. We collected a lifetime of adventures in a fleeting 6 weeks; hanging with the mayor of St Louis after the show, navigating Starved Rock Lock, losing my phone in the river in rural Illinois, and playing our finale show for thousands in downtown Chicago. This montage is my modest effort to capture a few of those memories.
The mud, sweat and tears this mighty band shed could fill another river across the heartland.
Thank you for watching and for everyone that supported this quixotic, indomitable, soul-feeding artistic collaboration with communities large and small. See you down the river!

@enormousface enormousface (Cascadia) is an abject physicist and nihilist anarchist puppeteer who performs anti-narrative works about unbeing, deep otherness, and desire in the void. xE organizes with GarbageFest, tours internationally with and without a smattering of strange collectivities, and lives in a hole in the mud with dozens of feral thynges.
.
@blowgun_nola Blowgun is a traditional music fusion project based in New Orleans, founded by fiddler Miriam Hacksaw and pandeirista Rye Oommen. Centered around old time fiddle tunes and samba percussion, their music recognizes the proletarian and anti-colonial origins of both styles. Rye and Miriam are siblings of Malayali descent, and also perform family songs in Malayalam from their motherland of Kerala, India. While not tied to a specific genre, Blowgun finds a unique sound in solidarity across ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
.
@abbyart Abby (Topsy Turvy) is a Chicago based puppeteer.
