THE VISITOR

Presented on the first day of Paris Couture Week, the @GeorgesHobeika Fall 2026 Couture show was an ode to beauty & poetry.

Georges & @JadHobeika, the house’s two designers, drew inspiration for their new collection, "The Visitor", from the poem "Instructions Before Visiting Earth" by artist & poet James McCrae (@WordsAreVibrations), which invites us to contemplate the beauty of the world, as nothing is permanent.

This new collection is thus infused with poetry & highlighted by the soundtrack curated by @MODE_F. It features French singer @November_Ultra, composer @Reid_Willis—who blends classical & electronic music—& @AustelMusic, a project by English artist Annie Rew Shaw.

The tracklist also includes two pieces from the soundtracks of the 2018 series "Trust" ("Old Paul") & Babak Anvari’s 2025 film "Hallow Road" ("Behind the Wheel").

Finally, the show featured the collaboration between Lana Del Rey & her father, Rob Grant, remixed by Brazilian DJ & producer @DJAnnaOfficial.

Celebrating FOUR YEARS since I first played my beautiful beautiful double bass “Kashtan” built for me be maestro Matthew Tucker @bresquebasses 🎵

It’s been by my side (literally) over the last 1461 days, give ir take, and has travelled with across state lines, international borders and now oceans and continents. I have been SO happy to play such a stunner of a bass. And if you want one too, go visit Matt in Marrickville, Sydney, and tell him I sent ya ;) even if you are from Germany!!

Here are some collected random moments from the last 4 years of performing. I would post them all if I could. But then my fingers would be sore and you would all be very bored ;)

3. then repeated solo gig at @mt_wilson_artist_in_residence but i only have this awk pic outside their church
4. then back at @thechurch.phoenix with duo gig @aliceplayssax I like this pic by @charliehardy / @phoenixcentralpark
5. then @ensembleapex project at ACO on the pier. surrounded by pno and Celeste! but i am sharing this cool pic of me by @gxbriellemxry which feels sooo self important when it's literally from an ensemble gig but
6. with @aliceplayssax again doing more like jazz and stuff for @newcastlemusicfestival

Wish i had videos with music for you but you have to take my word for it. otherwise feel like this doesn't actually really tell you anything. just pictures of me.🙄What a waste of cloud storage in some data centre! Sorry
