So proud of my Westbrook Percussion Ensemble kids! They have been named Mark of Excellence National Winners – National Percussion Ensemble Honors Project for the second year in a row!

Even with a lot of distractions and challenges at the end of the 2026 spring, these students pushed through and delivered an incredible performance at the Westbrook Spring Concert, where they had to record between the two bands.

I’m no longer at Westbrook, but I couldn’t be more proud of these kids and what they accomplished. A huge thank-you to the directors for giving me an amazing four years in CCISD and allowing me to be part of something so special. ❤️🥁.

Shout out to Ensemble Block for all the support and educational resources at Westbrook and Brookside the last 4 years!! 🫡
