“HOWZIT” from #southafrica! Thank you @lamtacademy for hosting a screening and post show discussion with our director / #capetown native @pierre_marais and producer @tellyleung. We made this film specifically for students and future generations of theater makers to ensure that the lessons we learned in those difficult times of the #covid lockdown are not forgotten. “Broadway can’t come back. We have to come forward” - and we know it’ll be this next generation leading the change.

I spent 12 inspiring hours at @lamtacademy yesterday, working with some very talented musical theater students in #CapeTown and hosting a screening of the documentary I helped produce during lockdown @ensemblefilmofficial with director @pierre_marais. It was a day of expression, exploration, cultural exchange, & profound conversations about the future of the performing arts. A huge thank you to @duanealex27 & @anton_luitingh for welcoming me into the #lamta family these last few months, and my good buddy Pierre for introducing me to these fine gents. As #oscarhammerstein brilliantly said: “by your pupils you’ll be taught.”

WHAT A DAY WE HAD at today’s first day of @bwaycon!! And I managed not to lose my sanity while running it all in my 8th consecutive 12+ hour day!! The #broadwaycon excitement applies to everyone at the con or not, btw, and you can #save20percent all weekend by using #couponcode BROADWAYCON at checkout when shopping via ApplauseShop.com. THIS WAS ONLY DAY ONE!!! Come visit us at booth 601 all weekend long — new items going out every day!!!!! 🤗

1️⃣- 3️⃣ i uhh made my film debut…😳 WHUT. It was a treat to play such a liberated character
and during #pride no less! Memories were made. Can hardly wait to see #Braden on the screen! Thanks @queenofknivesthefilm

4️⃣ & 5️⃣ Loved being back in Louisville w/ Ham. I even got back on a scooter after getting hit by a car on my personal one in LA (why I’m missing a tooth!) which was scary but I felt like we’re conquering fears this year so why not.

6️⃣-9️⃣ Took a day trip to Mystic with some Philip phrends to search for Julia Roberts. Gave up and settled for some ‘ZA instead.
