This has been an incredible few days. I had the opportunity to reconnect with one of my favorite training partners @ensomma.sb and many other like minded martial artists. I’m truly looking forward to training with @realdiehlrmma @realmovementrmma over the holidays in Chicago. Going over darce details with @nateorch10p and seeing his fluidity in the mat made me reframe the possibilities for ashiwaza.

Huge thanks to @aolsher50 @jakebjitsu @studio540 for opening up their school and hosing us for the mastermind summit.

@jflojudo hosted another stellar event bringing together like minded black belts from multiple disciplines and creating an environment to level up everyone’s standing engagements. Thank you, Justin!

For me, the highlight of the whole summit is the final hour. We are tested on the details of what one component of our days of learning. Hearing @jflojudo feedback for each individual and having him critique and refine our instruction is really an invaluable component to the whole process of learning. It’s one thing to compile the moves into our personal Rolodex. It’s a different thing entirely to digest the material and convey it to others for their learning.

Yesterday’s sessions tied together the hand fighting and short offense from the first day’s work. I’m looking forward to this afternoon’s Q&A.

If you've ever enjoyed @jflojudo content you should think about attending the next mastermind or at the very least dip a toe into his material found at jfloacademy.com
