𝗢𝗸𝗮𝘆… 𝗜’𝗺 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗺𝘆 𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆. 🥹🩺

My journey to RN was NOT easy.

Becoming a nurse was a dream I carried for YEARS. Life happened. I became a mother. I joined the Army. I experienced setbacks, heartbreak, career changes, healing, and seasons where surviving had to come before chasing the dream.

But the dream never left me.

So years later, I tried again.

Nursing school stretched me in ways I can’t fully explain. I was a wife, a mother, working, managing a household, and trying to hold onto a dream that sometimes felt impossible.

But God kept making a way. 🙏🏾

I finished nursing school. I earned my BSN.

Then came NCLEX.

I didn’t pass my first attempt.

That one hurt. 😮‍💨

But I had to remind myself: a setback doesn’t mean God changed His mind about me.

It didn’t erase my degree.
It didn’t mean I wasn’t capable.
And it did NOT cancel my calling.

So I studied again.
I prayed again.
I showed up again.

And on August 27, 2026, I became a REGISTERED NURSE. 😭🙌🏾🩺

This journey taught me the difference between “NO” and “NOT YET.”

God never told me I wouldn’t become a nurse. He just said, “Not yet.”

And now, I get to begin the next chapter of this journey in in the area of nursing that has my heart. 🥹💕

If you’re in your own “not yet” season: try again. Apply again. Pray again. Believe again.

A setback does not get to write the ending of your story.
