DÍA 12/100: UGANDA 🇺🇬
⠀

The Legendary Artist @monk.e_one re-painted the Vice Verses mural in Montreal last week 🇨🇦

The event turned into a day filled with love, family and of course some impromptu bar work from the gang 🏆

Another example of how the whole @eodub international fam works together to continue the legacy of my brother @viceversesforever @vicevvs

There’s no question that Classix The Writer has been one of the most dominant artists in the underground Hip Hop scene. Between his experimental sound and style, progressive lyrics, and daring subject matter, he’s easily become synonymous with the all-time greats. Let’s look back on the year 2025, when he used an entire rollout to accomplish more than just a name drop during the ‘best rapper’ debate at your local barbershop.

After a historic 2024 full of verbal warfare, and countless events, Classix paid no mind to any red lights. He had already won the United States title for End of the Weak’s MC Challenge; which meant he had only a few months to prepare for his trip to Uganda in Africa to compete for the world title.🏆
The stakes were higher than ever for the 22 year old wordsmith and he responded emphatically. After returning to NYC with the victory, he released his surprise-album, “Slzzpy vs ERRYBODY” attached to a promotional film series, and an endless amount of visual content to support it.

There was something different about this album. The tonality, attitude, and overall comfortability was at an all-time high. The man rapped with a chip on his shoulder [“Lockjaw”] gave us songs to dance to [“Supa Bad”] and still managed to double down on his social commentary throughout the album [“V For Vice”]. He even managed to take an abstract R&B approach [“Victoria’s Confession”]. Regardless of how you feel about the music, Classix celebrated his wins and losses with us in real-time, and that’s just something you can’t discredit.

Since the album’s release, He and his peers at Urbaan House Records have confirmed that Classix has an album set to release in 2027 focused on the origin of his alter egos, Slzzpy and Freddy Elo.

I was invited by @beyondbordersfestconf to share my testimony on building international communities around art and creativity. And an important chapter of journey was and is the eow worldwide network. After become Canadian champion in 2012, 2013 and 2014, I was privy to being welcomed all over the world as a performer, a judge, a painter and a brother. I performed in 30 countries and about third of these countries I was hosted by members of this community.
Africa has changed my life for the better. I have been established there for 13 years now and my entry to this mystic continent was the Eow world finals only 2014. I am for ever grateful for the artistic and social refuge this inspiring group of people has provided. And to celebrate their generosity, I continue giving in many ways. One of those ways, is the fact that I still make myself vulnerable by competing in this challenge. Putting my status and my pride on the line to offer entertainment and spirit to the multigenerational demography that we are on and off the stage. Tonight, I ll be competing in the national finals besides 5 brothers that I admire. And still I am nervous like I rarely been. If you are in Montreal or close, Come show love to this beautiful artform and celebrate with us this year's champion. With gratitude.

Happy Born Day to my brother @nonezeo One of the most kind, helpful and talented humans I know and we have over 30 years of friendship in the clip ✊🏽

He and I formed a group called SOLID GROUND in the late 1900’s 🤣

Our new album “Blood Brothers” arrives later this year. Today on his birthday, we released our first single: “The Format” feat. Homeboy Sandman on all streaming platforms.
(👀 None’s verse in this post)

Salute Rah on his born day by running up the single and showing him love in the chat 💬
