Swipe to experience a glimpse of the alternate reality Eon and Hope are world-building together during their time in the S P A C E Rising residency. ”How can we reshape an audience’s perception of reality through the use of costuming and light? How can we transform a stage into a world where color has a palpable presence? Our research delves into this concept, investigating exactly how costuming, lighting, and dance can have a symbiotic relationship in live performance. Through costuming, we research how the transformation of the human anatomy can alter perspectives. All the other aspects of the work will sprout out of this initial exploration. We find curiosity in the idea of repeating geometrical patterns occurring in nature contrasted with the infinitely mirroring structures of a kaleidoscope. Is geometry something that lies somewhere between nature and an other thing? Through the use of costuming, lighting, and dance, we seek to create a surreal, abstract experience that will alter the perceptions of your reality.” 🪩👯‍♀️🪩👯‍♀️🪩👯‍♀️🪩👯‍♀️🪩👯‍♀️🪩👯‍♀️ Come experience what Tiffany & Ethne create together in real life for S P A C E Rising 2026! This is what happens when we come together to dance, collaborate, and play. When our unique perspectives, histories, stories, and creative choices meet in motion. We make something beautiful. Something (r)evolutionary. This is how we create a future we dream of. Through play, through the dance, through being together in community practices like Ensemble Thinking. Together, we explored how perspective can change experience. We played with what happens when an individual does something unexpected and how the collective responds to continue moving as a whole. We attuned and refined our capacities to perceive — ourselves and one another. We are so grateful to Margaret Sunghe Paek for sharing the fruits of her research with us and for everyone who came to experience it for themselves. And a huge thank you to Margaret’s husband, Loren, for invigorating the space with your profound cello soundmaking! What we felt and witnessed that day was breathtaking and transformative. Thank you for being a part of the magic friends! OGD REP: CANDLE DUET OGD Intensive 2026 A month and a half later, we’re still thinking about the incredible rigor, support, and authenticity each artist brought into our OGD repertory sessions at the Intensive. This summer, our rep groups stepped directly into the developing choreographic world of NEVERMORE, exploring new duet material from our newest evening-length work. OGD Company Members facilitated the learning and sharing of this material, inviting each group not simply to learn movement, but to investigate it and make discoveries within it. There was something incredibly special about watching this choreography continue to develop in real time through new bodies, new partnerships, and new perspectives. The generosity these artists offered one another, and the commitment they brought into the room, reminded us why sharing repertory can be such an important part of the creative process. At the end of each Repertory session, we left deeply inspired by what we witnessed and by what we learned about this new material. So much gratitude for this beautiful group and the care, curiosity, and rigor they brought to the work. 🕯️ Special thank you to Juli and Levi for facilitating these sessions, and so generously sharing the new choreographic work 📷 by: @hexplorationcinema #ogdintensive2026 #ogdintensive
