TASHA KOHL 👑💄💋 NATIONAL ENTERTAINER OF THE YEAR 1991–1992 On November 10, 1991, the legendary Tasha Kohl of the DFW Metroplex (Texas) made drag herstory when she was crowned the very FIRST National Entertainer of the Year at the Connection Complex and Convention Center in Louisville, Kentucky. 💜👑💜 Following three nights of preliminary competition on November 7, 8, and 9, the grand finale took place on Sunday, November 10, with Tasha emerging victorious over 27 competitors from across the country….. And what a victory it was!! 🏆🥇👑 Tasha SWEPT the competition, becoming the judges’ choice in ALL FOUR categories: Interview, Evening Wear, Talent and Presentation!! Her spectacular talent production, “Dream Sequence,” captivated the audience of more than 1,000 spectators, earning her a standing ovation. 👏🏻👏🏼👏🏽👏🏾👏🏿 In addition to capturing the prestigious national crown, Tasha received what was reported as the largest prize in female impersonation pageant history at that time — $5,000 in cash and a brand-new 1992 Geo automobile!! 💰💵🚗 Charity Case of Kansas City, Missouri, was named First Runner-Up, while Leslie Rage of Baldwin, New York, captured Second Runner-Up honors, and making the evening even more special, Tasha’s dear friend and fellow Texas legend, Naomi Sims, served as one of the pageant’s emcees alongside Louisville’s Eddie Dee — in a beautiful moment between two legendary entertainers and dear friends, it was Naomi herself who placed the National Entertainer of the Year crown upon Tasha’s head!! 🌟💜💜🌟 A historic night, an extraordinary performance, and a well-deserved crown for the legendary Tasha Kohl!! 👑💄💋 #TashaKohl #NationalEntertainerOfTheYear #DragLegendOfLegends #DragHerstory #QueensOfTheStage

HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT! Hello! As some of you may know, I have been cooking up something recently. After finding a wonderful team, I can officially say that we have the inaugural PNW Reign Entertainer of the Year Pageant!!!! Date is set at October 26th at The Dock in Seattle and tickets are on sale NOW! We have a special guest coming, @morganmcmichaels the current reigning Entertainer of the Year This pageant is historic for Washington as we have not had a pageant to this degree here yet! Drag friends, please apply! You do NOT have to be a pageant queen to participate. Entertainer of the Year means you can be a comedy queen, singer, theater queen, or really anything! That’s the freedom of it. Message for more info! We are so excited to put this together and I am so happy to share this with you all! Come support if you can! I know my Papa would be proud and would want me to continue this work. I’m doing this for him and for the community I care so much about🖤 Links are also in my bio! Additional note: PNW includes participants from Washington, Idaho, Oregon and more! This is a regional pageant! Facebook page and application links to come Update 9/12: Applications are now up!!!

Georgia Regional Entertainer of The Year - Cora Nova! My first title! This crown wasn’t won overnight. It took placing 1st Alternate last year, hitting top 10 at Nationals and placing 2nd Alternate at USofA Bluegrass Newcomer and Miss Gay NC America this year, to build the entertainer standing before you today. Pageantry is all about dedication and perseverance. Every time I lost, I focused on what I needed to do better. I got up and pushed myself harder. I congratulated those who won. Applied my notes from every judge I’ve ever met and this year got damn near perfect scores in every category! ✨ Thank you to everyone who has ever believed in me. Now I need you more than ever as I prepare for Nationals. Please try to attend my shows, tip when you can and donate using the links in my bio to help me prepare my package. Your support is the only way I can make it! 💖✨ We will be hosting some fundraisers soon. So stay on the lookout for those. 👀 📸 Thank you @justtobyme for all the photos. 🥂Shout out to everyone who came to GA EOY! 👑Congratulations to my King @psychstarrvalentino 💖So much love for my sisters @theimanstarr & @queen_ellarex You both are amazing performers! Now who wants to book the Queen??? Please, like for real. Open to bookings everywhere and anywhere. 😂 🙏🏽 #dragqueen #dragpageant #coranova #eoy #entertaineroftheyear
