Ekphrastic Poetry Invitational in partnership with @twelvelitarts at the @clevelandmuseumofart yesterday💙. We had an amazing lineup of poets that created poems inspired by artworks from the museum’s collection and performed them in the galleries. It was a fun and powerful day! They brilliantly gave new life, energy, and ideas with each reading. Feeling thankful and proud this morning! - @replife777 🙏🏾

What an experience... The battles, performances, interviews, love shared/unity, & so much more on the #JITG2018 / #JITGPoetry ride will be FLÓevá remembered & officially archived as unFLÓgettable in my decade+ & counting FLÓexperience archive. Honored & humbled to have made it all the way to the final stage with the top 6 on the final performance night of this annual (Inter)National competition. In closing, CONGRATULATIONS to the top 3: 1. DEVERY Broox, 2. BETRAND Boyd, & 3. EPHRIAM Niehemiah. PITG/City of Miami Gardens/FIU (special shoutout to the black owned Starbucks on 27th Ave in M.G. that closed business down for the final stage to uniquely take place), it was beautiful to see so many people (not just fr/S. FL, but fr/globally abroad) pour in to this beautiful 2nd annual to bond/support. Keep this going.
