*NEXT SHOW*

After a MASSIVE response to our request for new bands this weekend (we had about 40 bands get in touch to support) we’ve finalised the bill for our Saturday 7 November show at the @hopeandanchorlive in Islington.

Returning from Birmingham for a well deserved CW headline will be the excellent @slump_uk - coming off the back of a very busy year of UK touring. Main support are London’s @itsallaboutmaryuk - back after 10 years away from the scene and with a stonking new album just launched, with fellow Londoners @theserenityclubband and Bristol’s @epimetheusdoom stepping into the breach for a big CW debut.

This one has the smell of sweat, beers and cookin’ amplifiers written all over it… so get this date in the diary and get your tickets booked over at @wegottickets ASAP!

….. ….. …..

PS huge love to everyone who tagged and shared our post to get this one over the line - it’s funny how these things work out. The headache of a big cancellation actually brought some fresh new blood in for next year’s events. Watch this space….

Your listings for the rest of the year. We've got doom, death, post-rock, black metal, sludge, post-hardcore, screamo, and more.

2027 is shaping up to be madness already but first we're finishing this year on a high. All tickets available via Headfirst and www.bacchuspresents.co.uk.

Maybe there's also another unannounced show because I'm a glutton for punishment. Who knows.

We are pleased to announce the first batch of bands for Temple of Doom Vol. III, alongside the release of early bird tickets!

Sludge legends Slabdragger lead the charge, returning to Bristol for the first time in aeons to unleash a haze of pummeling riffs and massive grooves. Joining them are blackened doom torchbearers Acid Throne, who set the Sophie Lancaster stage ablaze at Bloodstock this year. Rounding off the first batch are Bristol doomers Epimetheus, who exploded onto the scene earlier this year with their (inter)stellar debut album Perseus 9.

Taking over Loco Klub, Temple of Doom Vol. III will be bigger than ever before, with 2 stages, 12 bands, and no clashes. Stay tuned for more band announcements soon.

In the meantime, grab an early bird ticket - numbers are strictly limited, so be quick! Ticket link in bio. EB tickets are £20, and general release will be £25. There's also a t-shirt bundle available, check it out.

Thanks to @thunderhorse_tx for having along for the ride for a couple of nights. What a band. Cheers to @epimetheusdoom for bringing the space doom, and it’s always a pleasure to be inside @gryphonbristol. Got a couple of weeks to recover before the next gig, details coming soon. Much love! OP x

Please welcome stoner doom titans @erronautuk to the lineup for our Halloween show. Erronaut, who blend 70s psych rock with 90s grunge and stoner metal, will be no strangers to UK doom fans. We are very happy to have them and their crushing desert riffs on board and thank them for joining at short notice!

Following Hippie Death Cult's withdrawal, Welsh occult doomers @goatmajorband will headline the night, just a week after their album release. This is a serious night of DOOM and you'd be a fool to miss it.

Fresh poster by the legend that is @errorzone.exe. Tickets available on Headfirst!

Bristol’s busiest bassist is back once again with another incredibly crowded poster.

These are all of my gig dates from now until the end of autumn, laid out on-top of this awesome photograph from @fraser_gig_photos 📸💯

Keen eyed among you may notice one new addition here, although i have played with them in the past on cello, i will be hoping on the bass for @urzahband for a few of their shows this year. First being Bristol shows supporting @morag.tong and then @cwfenband 🔥

@froglordband dates all along the left, starting next week with Bournemouth, Stoomfest and Origins fest… then an impromptu trip to Denmark for Sonic Ritual!and highlights from later in the year including Doom By The Sea and the 1000mods Bristol support. 😍🤘

@kalamityofficial are playing at Newport food Festival fairly soon which will be alot of fun, and then (and I’m actually not sure if this is announced yet) we’ll be playing at the Cwmbran Christmas lights switch on event later in November, which is Kay’s hometown so that is very exciting. 🤩✨

@phantom_droid_band also repping the hometowns with shows in Swindon and Bristol coming up. Gunna be the first time returning to both the Vic and The Gryphon as a two piece so thats fun. 🦾🤖

Enjoy these few random pictures which i decided to include too, and the last slide where i am seen walking around arctangent with my love (🍉) and my fiancé 🤣💕

For more information, check out the tagged accounts and find ticket links through the band pages. Hope to catch lots of friends on my travels! 💜

Oh yeah and shoutout to my cats. Thought they should be on the poster too @bean_and_gnome 🐈‍⬛

All good things eventually come to an end (unless they have reached their point of singularity) so our short UK tour with our friends in @monolithe_official is now consigned to the past.

Our interplanetary journey took us from Cardiff to Plymouth, then we entered a wormhole to make it to Ipswich and from there to Liverpool, until we finally found ourselves in the constellation of Sheffield where it all ended.

Massive thanks to Dan at @nytyspromotions who put the whole thing together. Cheers to @12ax7promotion @deadsoulpromotions @blackbloodbookings and @heelturn_promotions for putting up sublime individual shows for the tour.

Cheers to all bands which provided support on this tour and delivered awesome sets: @witchsorrow @goatmonsoon @erebus.dooms @themedeaproject @epimetheusdoom and @staltheband

Very grateful to everyone who attended, bought merch or otherwise promoted this tour.

We will be now focusing our attention on our album release show on the 31st October with @deprofundisband @etherealdarknessband and @deha.music
