There are SO MANY STORIES to be shared…

The @salty_goddess_network can’t wait to facilitate a select few of these stories via a special book project coming together this summer…🐘👯‍♀️✨

This year brought BIG changes for our family — some beautiful, some very hard — and through it all, I couldn’t be more proud of these two humans. 🤍

Eli (15) continues to grow into a kind, hardworking young man with integrity, incredible creativity and curiosity, and Matelle’s big heart, leadership, and confidence amaze me daily. Watching them navigate change with resilience has been one of my greatest blessings.

We felt loss this year, welcomed new beginnings, and ultimately found our forever fit with sweet little Nutmeg 🐶 (3 lbs of pure love). Through every chapter, we’re learning our new normal with honesty, strength, and a whole lot of grace.

So grateful for my kids, the heart-centered women in my life, the support around us, and the lessons this year has brought. Wishing everyone a peaceful holiday season and a happy, healthy 2026 ✨

And as always, the Salty Goddess Network remains a bright spot — supporting heart-centered leaders here in North County San Diego. 💛🌊

Hi Instagram!
2022 was an eventful year! Eli is 12 years old and in the 7th grade. He is developing a love for music that pairs well with the natural musical talent he has for playing the piano. He has a giant caring heart that makes him an excellent owner to the many pets he keeps. He also very much enjoys sports, backyard/pickup games of all kinds, and golf. Additionally, Eli upped his game of neighborhood street corner rock & lemonade sales, to create his own business; Encinitas Rocks. He now sells his hand painted rocks at Adore Boutique in the Forum, at our Eat the Frog studio, and via instagram @encinitasrocks! Matelle is 9 and in the 4th grade. She continues to love to play in the neighborhood with her friends most of all but she is also a tremendous athlete who love surfing and skating! She took surf camp this summer and played a season of basketball. She switched schools at the beginning of this school year and likes her new school and teachers very much.

In grown up life, Chuze Fitness @chuzefitness turned 14 this year, and is heading into a new state: Texas! This thanksgiving was particularly special as the entire Chuze Fitness Barshick and Brightwell Fam Bam celebrated together (3 generations!). Additionally, it was a productive year for Kris and I doing what it took to put Eat the Frog Fitness, LaCosta @eatthefrog_lacosta on the map! In fact, we opened ETF 14 years to the DAY of opening Fuze (now Chuze) Fitness! We, with our team, have been pouring loads of effort into Eat the Frog and invite you all in to see what we’ve made this year!

We wish everyone a safe, healthy and happy new year! Let's go 2023!
