Most needed right now:
Duo Tangs • Notebooks • Pencil Crayons • Pencils • Washable Markers • Wax Crayons • 1.5” to 2” Binders • Highlighters • Dividers • Scissors

Swing by anytime this August and help us make a difference for a kid in our community.

Check out some of our incredible vendors and organizations that came out to support the event on Saturday! We couldn't do what we do without you guys, and our communities are better because of the work you guys do!

Sending out a huge thank you to all the organizations, vendors, incredible sponsors, and people who came out to support this incredible cause.

We can't wait to do it all again with you guys next year on June 12, 2027!

While this is just a snippet of what happened yesterday, we are absolutely blown away with the support we received from the community!

Over 1700 participants came out yesterday to help break the silence around mental health! Whether you were there walking, running, volunteering, or you donated towards the cause... This wouldn't be possible without the community.

You guys are incredible! With your help there was over $12,000 raised.. how incredible is that? Every dollar went back to the Edmonton Public Schools Foundation!

So much more from the event to come! We already can't wait for next year!

A huge thank you to @epcor and @epsbfoundation for supporting our Full-day Kindergarten program.
This year, our Full-day Kindergarten classroom received a generous $2,000 donation to expand our classroom library.

These new books will spark imagination, build early literacy skills and help our youngest learners discover the joy of reading. We are so grateful for this investment in our students.
Thank you! 💙📚

A warm welcome from the @epsbfoundation was waiting on my desk last week — and it meant a great deal.

The Foundation plays an important role in ensuring students have access to opportunities, resources, and support that help them thrive.

I’m excited to deepen my understanding of this work and to support the partnerships that make such a meaningful difference in our schools.

Thank you for the thoughtful gesture — and for the impact you make every day.

❤️🙏🏿🙏🏽Appreciation post❤️🙏🏿🙏🏽 Full circle moment. In the 2000s I used to hoop for the @bearsbasketball team. Some of my best years were at this exceptional program. The man in this picture played a huge role in my academic & athletic career. 🙏🏿🙏🏽❤️

In U of A they have this hub spot called (SUB) the students union building. Me and my homies spent many hours in this space, studying, chilling, and of course enjoying a meal with each other.

Every single, pre and post game meal I’ve had for my whole Uni career came from this spot called “Marcos” a Donair, burgers and home cooked meal restaurant in the SUB building. Nestled in the corner, you can’t miss the sign, or the incredible service and staff. The lineups were thick!!! Because the food was 🔥🔥🔥 Freddy (Fadi), was the King of this lovely restaurant, and the homies and I would always chat with him, talk hoops, and life, it was really cool community.

We developed a really unique bond over the years. Would have my birthday meals there, before all road trips, I’d take my travel bags on the bus, then I had to check in at “Marcos”. Classic order: burger (loaded), onion rings, ginger ale (like clockwork).

Finished my career in 2008, graduated, but never forgot that undeniable flavour from the shop.

Flash-forward: I’m pulling up to my work on a Saturday, watching some junior high hoops, and sitting at the end of the bench, who do I see?? Freddy!!

He recognized me immediately, we started hugging, joking, he even remembered my Onion Rings order❤️🙏🏽🙏🏿! JH ballers were looking at 2 grown men reminiscing on life like they were kids at a park. Come to find out that Freddy is now a very devoted Basketball dad!! I watched his kids play hoops this weekend and it was like being at U of A all over again.

Family: Never underestimate the impact of a genuine relationship: in sports, business, education, or in life. Freddy made me have a second home at school. He was solid then and now. 🐻& 🐼s reading this, we have a very authentic sports culture. Fans, classmates, volunteers, game day staff, everyone. Appreciate them❤️

Love you Freddy, glad the game brought us together again.🏀🙏🏽🙏🏿❤️
