From the concept to the final details, it was such a pleasure bringing this vision to life through styling and design. Thank you for trusting me and allowing me the creative freedom to style this amazing event!

A few favorite details from my latest dinner party.

From personalized menus to unexpected florals and a cake we somehow ended up dancing around.

Hey Neighbor

This is your sign to send the “So when are we going to the next Girl Dinner” text if you already haven’t.

All summer @chefashleylujares and I have been building this idea of an R&B ladies night with an all female led kitchen and bar team. Community is a verb. Not a location, not just an action. Last Tuesday, we got to witness that in real time. Beautiful people, beautiful vibrations, beautiful food and libations. Thank you to @equalmeasurebar for hosting us with love. Thank you to everyone who pulled up on Tuesday night with their crew, their boos and sidepieces. We love to see it. Shoutout to the amazing dessert from @poonchp, a joy to collaborate with. Please go check out more of her creations @phinista.cafe. Thank you to our sponsors @suntoryglobalspirits @campariofficial @bostonprovisionsmarket. Special thanks to @troy._.ali for capturing the experience 🫶🫶🫶

And because so many people asked, here is the Girl Dinner playlist: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/7yjuoXK3hoUBqg1CJhHlrx?si=n6kracYRQaCdc7KvyeVyiw&utm_source=copy-link&pi=smrMw20xS_acb

GIRL DINNER IS FOR EVERYONE. This is just the beginning. See you across the bar soon Neighbor 💋

After @chefashleylujares moved on from M+C (where I 1st met her many moons ago) she resurfaced in the Boston Culinary Scene doing pop-ups and collaborations focused on some of the foods, flavors, and products of the Philippines 🇵🇭 but done her way, as well as jumping in the kitchen to help support some of our other chef friends with their pop ups. I've been fortunate to have gotten to experience her food a handful of times.

Tonight was a fun one, GIRL DINNER, at @equalmeasurebar. But chef doesn't discriminate. If you're cool, she's cool, and your welcome to enjoy; Girl, Guy, Straight, LGBTQ, all good!

I couldn't decide between the Nuggs & caviar or the pork belly bao. But I figured it out my strategy: order them both, eat half of each, bring the other half home for my wife, and still leave room for dessert!

Chef teamed up with @_courtneymoy who brings her Cantonese-inspired cocktail pop up @goodneighborboston who we've seen all around the Boston area spreading cocktails, love, and community. Last time I saw her she was mixing cocktails in front of a line 30 deep before @laurence_louie @bravotopchef finale (what a night that was!).

Did someone say dessert? @poonchp made an incredible Ube coconut cheesecake with mango and white chocolate sesame.

A side shout out to @samatchalee. After an initial wave of "influencers" who do it for the exposure, likes , money and follows, we are starting to see people in our community like Sam who have a passion for our local restaurants and especially pop ups and want to support them. Pop ups I feel are so vital as a form of R&D for chefs looking to do their own thing. PLEASE support local pop ups and Social Media Content Creators like Sam.

Hey Chef Ashley ...Oops you did it again! 💜🍴
