Storm’s Spooktacular diary starts here!

Our Everything Pony junior editor, Storm, is at @arenauk_official UK for the Halloween Spooktacular this weekend. Here’s a little look at her first day, with plenty of pony time and a good look around those spooky jumps!

Are you there too? We want to see what you and your ponies are getting up to.

Tag Everything Horse Magazine in your photos and tell us who’s in them. You might just find yourselves featured in Everything Pony in our next issue!

Whos ready for day 2???
Just another calm and organised day of showjumping… 😂🌪️

When you think you’ve got everything under control, but the showjumping gods have other ideas!

Two classes clashing meant we arrived at the Discovery ring with just THREE left to jump, and Felicity was last to go! 🙈

No time to watch anyone go around and absolutely no idea what the course was. To make matters worse, the two riders immediately before her both retired, so there wasn’t even a last-minute chance to watch someone jump it! 😂

And as if that wasn’t enough, the weather decided to join in. Gale-force winds, rain and a green, super-fresh pony who was finding the whole situation rather exciting! 🌪️🐎

So there she was, trotting around the warm-up in the middle of a storm, trying to get her pony listening, remember a course she’d barely had a chance to look at and somehow make it all look like part of the plan!

Sometimes showjumping is all about preparation, perfect timing and having everything organised… and sometimes it’s about thinking on your feet, adapting to complete chaos and hoping for the best! 😂

Because apparently just jumping the fences isn’t challenging enough! 🤣

I’m off to Australia & New Zealand!!🇦🇺🇳🇿✨

Only for 6 weeks… but still a very long time away from my babies🥹🦄

I’m going to miss my ponies & family SO much, but I’m incredibly lucky to have such lovely people around me who will look after my babies while I’m away. I’m especially grateful that @megan.field.dressage_ is going to come up and keep my ponies ticking over for me❤️

I’ll still be sharing some things that have been sitting in my drafts, but apologies if I’m a little quieter on here than usual!

So excited for the adventure, but definitely going to be counting down the days until I’m home with my babies again🥹❤️✈️

Rumble’s first official night in.

With the storm coming over the next couple of nights, everyone is coming in, so Rumble has come in too.

He had a little lunge this evening with a roller on. He was a bit confused by it all at first, but eventually settled and got his head around it.

He’s been wormed, has a nice big haynet and a fresh bed ready to keep him warm over the next few nights.

Slowly getting him used to new things and letting him figure it all out in his own time.
