To our donors, sponsors, participants, volunteers, and everyone who stands with us—thank you. Your support is making a real difference and strengthening the future for our Veterans and their families.

And a special thank-you to @thegoatmanch for hosting the event and helping shine a spotlight on the needs of our Veteran community. 🇺🇸

Huge thank you to @eiproject and @equineimmersionfoundation for bringing me on this amazing weekend.

I was lucky enough to be able to provide some nervous system education, do a tension/trauma release exercise (TRE) session, and provide mini craniosacral and reiki sessions for the participants and some of the team.

They use the healing power of horses (and community) to work with active military, veterans and their supports to help them decompress, start to heal and connect with themselves.

Just witnessing the changes in the first day…the trust, relaxing and letting walls down, the laughter, the bonding…it was amazing. What they are doing is important and so impactful and I am beyond grateful to be on the team.

Please check them out, their mission, what they offer. It may just be what you or someone you know needs.

Heros need Heros.

The last four days, the teams from @risingstarrhorserescue and @standfast_alliance ( we are StandFast Equine) teamed up with the amazing @eiproject to bring together horses, humans , healing and community.
We were honored to have members and their spouses of the US Navy, Navy SEALs, Army Rangers, and Marine forces special operators command MARSOC here @risingstarrhorserescue . We want to thank @udtseal_association , @equineimmersionfoundation , @standfast_alliance and @risingstarrhorserescue for funding this important work.

It's a gift to share our horses compassion with the people who fight for our/ their freedom.

Please remember that a stranger on the street might just be the one who bravely stands in front of imminent danger and death for you

I can not begin to explain how thankful I am for the love and care I received from both animals and the amazing humans I've met over the weekend. I always knew horses were emotionally intelligent beings but never imagined such a majestic giant to lay next to me after openly sharing a great deal of my pain with the group. The team also helped me gain the confidence I've lost just by simply challenging me to literally stand on a horse or help relieve the pain of another creature by sticking my hand in its mouth! I've gained so many great memories and experiences with the @eiproject team. I can't wait to see what the future holds for us all. The hope within me is streghtened once more. ❤️

Education, research, opportunities.support, amazing people, and a drop of fun. At Horses for humans Research Foundation conference in Texas.

This was a game changer. I have been to many conferences, the openness, community, and need to help other organizations succeed should be replicated in many sectors of the equine world. It is truly a unique and refreshing experience. I will never look at " research " as a bad word again. Education is key.
The good work is just beginning.
Thank you all.

1/ST is proud to partner with Racing To Relate, @horseback_uk and @equineimmersionfoundation (Team EIF) along with @delta and @bestdefensefoundation on The Remembrance Rides to recognize and honor the 80th Anniversary D-Day Battle of Normandy.

@AidanRButler and @AaronGryder represented 1/ST on-site this past week and joined with US Navy Seals and Special Forces veterans from the UK and France. Many rode retired racehorses as part of the official 80th Anniversary of D-Day and the Battle of Normandy to honor the fallen and raise funds to support the recovery of injured servicepeople.

Please follow our partners for more information on this amazing cause and to learn more about this worldwide effort.

Early risers today as we headed to the iconic Deauville Racecourse for a meaningful meet-up with Aaron Gryder, former American Champion Jockey and VP at 1/ST Racing, one of our proud sponsors. 🐎🌅

Aaron and our own Jock delved into a topic close to our hearts: finding new purpose for former racehorses. These majestic animals, much like veterans, seek a second chapter after their first careers end, and we’re dedicated to helping them transition smoothly.

It’s partnerships like these with 1/ST Racing and support from organizations like EIF-Equine Immersion Foundation and Racing To Relate that amplify our efforts and impact. Together, we’re creating pathways that honor and repurpose the strength and spirit of these incredible horses.

Stay tuned as we explore more ways to make a difference. DDay80 #neverforget #hbukdday80

Last night we stood in the quiet early hours, we witness the stirring commemorations of the Pegasus Bridge assault, exactly 80 years ago to the minute. 🌉 #DDay80

Pegasus Bridge, initially named Bénouville Bridge, was a critical early battleground during the D-Day operations. In a daring mission that marked one of the first ground actions of D-Day, 180 troops of the Ox and Bucks Light Infantry, led by Major John Howard, skillfully captured these strategic points. Their incredible precision allowed them to land in Horsa gliders mere meters from their objectives, securing both bridges in under ten minutes.

The scene today is electric, with fireworks illuminating the sky, mirroring the explosive history of this site as thousands gather to honor the bravery that turned the tides of war. Brigadier Lord Lovat’s commandos, famously led ashore to the sounds of Bill Millin’s bagpipes against all orders, reinforced the critical eastern flank, leaving a legacy of bold defiance and Scottish pride.

Join us in reflecting on this pivotal moment in history, celebrating the fearless spirit of those who fought for freedom. 🎖️🎶 #paratrooper #commando #fypシ #PegasusBridge #DDay80 #DDay #HBUKDday80 #Dday80

Today, here from jock as they stand solemnly at the British War Memorial in Normandy, a sacred site that echoes the sacrifices made 80 years ago. As HBUK walked among the silhouettes representing fallen soldiers and read the plaques dedicated by their loved ones, the weight of their sacrifices felt all the more real.

These young heroes, aged 19, 21, 22, left a legacy of freedom forged in the harrowing sands of these beaches. This memorial, with names etched on every pillar, serves as a stark reminder of the price paid for our liberty.

We urge you to visit, to bring your children, and to teach them about the tremendous cost of peace. Let them learn about the unsung battlefields, the countless lives lost beyond what history books capture.

This is more than history; it’s a pilgrimage to honor all who gave everything for us to live freely. If this place doesn’t move you, nothing will.

Fly past rehearsals are underway for tomorrow’s D-Day 80 commemorations. Let’s remember, reflect, and educate.
