Nic is all about turning an average player into a world class player.

Why didn’t I meet him as a teenager when I was an average u19 player 😅 I would have been a cricketer and not a broadcaster 🤣🤣

I loved this episode because it gives not only players trick and tips to be a better player but also can give me and you something to think about in relation to equipping ourselves with the necessary tools to strive to be at our best.

Look out for the episode dropping at 3pm this afternoon. #PitchsidePodcast

This post is a few weeks late, but I finally had some time to reflect on the @crossfitgames quarterfinals.

Workouts 1&2: Exposed a huge weakness that I'm hungry to work on in the following year

Workout 3: Proud of my effort. Long workouts like this one used to be a weakness for me, but the effort put into training really paid off. This one demonstrated that I grew in my physical and mental capacity.

Workout 4: I haven’t been maxing out in training at all, but I worked on my strength a lot, and it paid off. I PR'ed all my lifts.

Workout 5: Favourite workout. Next year snatches at that weight should be touch and go!

I did not reach the goal I set for myself, but we learn wisdom from failure much more than from success. Back to work!
