I am so grateful for the opportunity I had to intern at my home church over the past year. I’m incredibly thankful for every person who has invested in me, encouraged me, prayed for me, and poured into my life along the way.

The Lord has opened so many doors for me, and I’m amazed by His faithfulness. Looking back, I can clearly see His hand guiding every step. As I step into this next chapter, I’m excited to see where He continues to lead. Thank you, Monroe City Church of God, for being such a big part of my story.

God is so GOOD!!

Praising God for blessing me with this new chapter of my life! I am SO excited to announce my commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at Mid-America Christian University! I can’t wait to see what the Lord has in store for me in OK! I want to thank all of my family, friends, and coaches who’ve supported me in xc and track these past 8 years. I also want to thank Coach Merritt for giving me the opportunity to continue doing what I love. Officially an Evangel!! ❤️🤍

What a great summer it’s been! From mission trips in Minnesota to eating bugs in Indiana (yes I really did that). I couldn’t have asked for a better group of people to spend it with. Love you all and miss you dearly🫶.
But I’m excited to start a new chapter of life and lead with this amazing group of people. Here’s to year 5 at MACU!

Happy Birthday to this wonderful gem of a women!! God truly blessed me when he brought you and our dear Tory into my life. Thank you for sitting on a porch with me when I was have a break down, thank you for always helping me too see the beauty in all situations, and thank you for just being you. Years ago my dad thought he wasn’t going to make it out of one of his many surgeries.

So he secretly gave my friend Shannon, this locket and made her promise to give it to me on my wedding day.

❣️Fast Forward about 18 years❣️

5 minutes before I walked down the aisle Shannon walked in and tied this locket into my bouquet. So he could walk with me…Knowing I’m stubborn and would more than likely walk myself down that aisle one day.

It was tied in right beside a gift my other friend Liz gave me a few months ago, knowing how much I miss him and how hard it would be on my wedding day.
The gift from Liz was perfectly worded for that locket my dad had set aside for me.
I thank Shannon and appreciate her more than she will ever know for fulfilling this wish and continuing to be there for me for over 25 years now. She walked in and became my big sister and mentor practically over night. And I adore her beyond words.

Seeing this photo from my incredible photographer filled my heart so full.

He was truly the most amazing man who would always bend over backwards to help others even though he wasn’t in the shape to be helping. He taught me how to be strong, independent and to stand up for what I believe. That man couldn’t walk but would find a way to help others fix fences, paint their homes, stain boards for the new church remodel & bought himself a horse who pulled a cart just to be able to go riding with me. He was the best human with an even better laugh. I can see his gold teeth and still hear his big belly laugh.

And I’m happy Fredd is up there singing for him to keep him laughing.
Thanks for the reminder dad…Until I see you both again.

PS: make sure Fredd gets one piece of French bread each morning. ♥️
