What you create has value! Do you know who actually owns it? Join Black Women in Cosmetic Chemistry (BWICC) for Protect What You Create: Intellectual Property for Cosmetic Chemists & Beauty Brands, a virtual educational webinar featuring Marcha I. Chaudry, Esq. of Equity Wellness Co. 🗓️October 27, 2026 ⏱️7:00-8:30 PM EDT 💻Virtual via Zoom This conversation goes beyond trademarks. We’ll explore the intellectual property questions cosmetic chemists, consultants, product developers, founders, and brand owners need to understand-from formula ownership, trade secrets, NDAs, work-for-hire language, and IP assignment clauses to trademark protection, brand naming, development agreements, and ownership of commissioned formulas. Because creating the formula is only part of the work. Understanding how to protect what you create-and what you may be signing away—is just as important. Whether you develop products, own a beauty brand, consult independently, or are building your career in cosmetic science, this session is designed to help you better understand the business and legal side of your creativity. Come with your questions. We’ll close with a live Q&A. Registration detail : Link in bio #BWICC #CosmeticChemistry #CosmeticChemist #BeautyBusiness #IntellectualProperty
