How do you put something like this into words?🥹

A season and chapter I will never forget. I am filled with so much gratitude for what this space has done for me. A chapter filled with growth, unforgettable memories, and ultimately, the best possible ending…champions🏆🧡

This team is my family, and one way or another, I know they will always be part of my life. I feel so grateful to have shared this experience with such an amazing group of girls. I love you all forever!

Coach @bongiwemsomie , my appreciation for you is more than I could ever express. Thank you for always backing me, believing in me, allowing me to grow as both a player and a leader, and for creating a space that feels like home.

I couldn’t have asked for a better season. UJ has shaped such a big part of who I am today, and will always hold such a special place in my heart🧡

WE ARE CHAMPIONS 🧡🏆⭐️

Wow… making HISTORY with this team has been a huge blessing 🥹
From the day I stepped into UJ netball as a first year trying to rediscover my love for the sport to now, I can say that every single person has had such an impact on me in finding it again.

Sometimes we forget how blessed we are to have such powerful, encouraging and experienced senior players, mentors, coaches and coaching staff around us.

This environment and pressure of netball has not been easy, but it has made me grow.
If you told me 1 year ago that I would stand as a 1st year at UJ, lifting up the VARSITY CUP with MY TEAM… I would’ve NEVER believed you.

I am beyond blessed to call these girls my sisters, UJ home and them my family.

Thank you coach @bongiwemsomie , I don’t think you understand the profound impact you have had on my life and my netball this year.
You have really shifted and changed the trajectory for UJ netball FOREVER !!! You have made HISTORY.

Above all else, I want to give all Praise and Glory to God, because if it wasn’t for Him,
none of this would EVER be possible.

From 8th to 1st. 🏆🧡

Some chapters are too special to put into words, and this is one of them.

When I arrived at UJ 6 years ago , Varsity Netball looked very different for us. We were fighting our way up, learning, growing, losing, rebuilding and choosing to believe, even when the dream felt like it was slipping a couple of times. We carried the disappointment of the difficult seasons, but we also carried the hope that one day, all the hard work would mean something.

And now, after years of the journey, we are Varsity Netball champions — the first UJ Netball team to bring this title home and put a star on the dress 🥺🏆

To experience this in my final chapter at UJ feels almost unreal. It is the kind of ending I used to imagine during the difficult moments, but never knew if I would actually get to live it .
Last year was supposed to be my last year and this is why I believe in the scripture “we plan but God decides “ because that’s when I sustained not just one but two injuries that required surgery and excessive rehab . So I decided to stay an extra year because the goal remained … “I’m not leaving Varsity without the Varsity Netball trophy “ . A year later , to leave this place as a champion, surrounded by the people who shared every part of the journey, is something I will carry with me forever.

UJ gave me more than netball.I leave with two degrees…cooking the third one lol …countless memories, lifelong connections and a heart that is incredibly full. I leave knowing that I gave this journey everything I had, and that it gave me more than I could have ever asked for in return.

Leaving is bittersweet. I’m emotional because saying goodbye to a place that has shaped so much of my life is never easy. There are so many memories, faces, conversations and moments that I will carry with me long after I leave. But more than anything, I am grateful.

UJ, thank you for everything. I will be in the stands watching next year with a grateful and content heart that I left the dress in a better place 🧡

To think last year I didn’t even get to reach a semi final because of an injury and this year it’s all different. Thank you God! Thank you Everyone! Thank you Varsity Netball 2026 for featuring me.🥺❤️

The past two months, all put together in 16 little squares!
👩🏼‍❤️‍👨🏻🫶🏼🐾⛹🏼‍♀️⚡️💐🎨🥹⛳️🫰🏼🥇🥰🥂⚪️🏓🎀

God has been so incredibly good to me these past two months. I’ve seen His hand in so many of the little things, the big things, and everything in between ❤️

It’s also officially been one whole year of growing out my hair, which feels so surreal when I think about where I was a year ago - so sick, and now here I am 🥹

So grateful. So blessed. So much to celebrate.

Thank you God for keeping me safe, healthy & held through it all!

It was literally just my birthday yesterday and today I’m graduating🎓…..Ka ba ka la mogau wa modimo, badimo, batswadi, bo mmane ba ko gae le koko I’m a whole intelligent, gorgeous, athletic 20 year old graduate!🥰🥂❤️
