🌈6wks out from #ProjectChroma and as we descend into the darker season, we’re gettin excited to bask in the sound of @infinitesun_333 because this Dj stays solar powered! 🔋

Infinite Sun’s roots in Boston’s underground drum & bass and psytrance scene shaped a DJ style centered on connection, inclusivity and community. Based on the West Coast, they’ve become known for playing queer-centered spaces and events, including joining the @discohoneysf collective based in San Francisco as a resident DJ for house-music parties for the girls, the gays and the theys.

Their sound blends house, techno, tech house, bass house, latin house, DnB, psytrance and global influences to create joyful and welcoming dance floors!

Infinite Sun’s goal is always to help build spaces where people feel safe, seen and connected through music. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️☀️

Mid Valley this weekend went about as well as things can with the state of. You know. Everything.

A small con with slow foot traffic at a time where money is tight… it doesn’t particularly make me optimistic about future events. I’ve already got enough stopping me from applying and going to events, so this decline I’m seeing is… well, just a bummer really. Nothing to do but keep going I guess.

Despite the nihilism it inspired, I did make my table back and had a good time. There were lots of cute animals like Caesar the llama, the pigeons in the rafters, the two corgis who licked me and gave me +10000 serotonin, and a cute bearded dragon. Apparently someone had a pet skunk too but I never saw it!

I also got to buy and trade goodies with fellow artists, which is like 60% of the actual reason I enjoy cons. I tried to tag everyone who had an instagram, but I might’ve missed someone! Thank you all my fellow artists who I got to commiserate with, and may our futures be… less bleak. 🤷🏻‍♀️🙏🏻
